I just got this yesterday. im about 4 hours in now. i got 5 hours into call of duty three so far. and checked out red steel for a couple hours. and in my opinion, this is the best one available right now. the controls arent bad if you take the time to get used to them. the graphics could be much better, but they're deffinitely acceptable. the multiplayer is really good, especially predator mode. the voice acting is not good at all, but the sound effects and musical score are very fitting for the game, and deffinitely help immerse the player. the environment, like the other far cry games, are deffinitely different than most games of this genre, but ive found it very immersive. if you can get past the slightly clunky graphics, pick this one up for sure. most fun ive had on the wii other than twighlight princess.

I agree with the other reviewer. It definitely provides that feeling of immersion into the game. The use of the controller takes a bit to get used to at first. But by the first stage you should get the hang of it. Very interactive! I'm not usually into war theme games, but love shooting,i took a chance with this game and I have to say i was stunned as how stuck I was on playing this game. Trauma Op is another great one. and Zelda too. But i think graphics can be a bit better but the music selection and the whole experience of using your wii controller makes up for it. You really feel your in the game. Music was a bit spooky for me..I found myself very focused into the game and any distraction i would be startled, which i thought was very funny. But just to give you an idea of what you may expect. The dialogue and vocal sound effects could be better, a bit repetative. But again the use of the wii controllers makes up for it. You can shoot with two guns at the same time , slash with a long army knife or shoot them if you wish. Take over vehicles and shoot with acquired larger weapons.. It's cool. If you into graphics only then proceed with caution..but honestly i think its a decent game, for what it is. I bought it on a deal at circuit city, on sale $19.99. Took a chance, Lovin it thus far. Love the fact you get really involved in the game.

If Wii games are like this, plan on just selling the Wii. I am older, and believe all these Wii games are geared towards younger children. I have yet to find anything worthwhile, other than a Zelda Port. This game here is by far the worst shooter I have ever played. You have more freedom and movement playing Combat on Atari 2600 than this. The graphics are horrible, the controller functions are horrible, the fun is horrible. It is 1/2 a game, and is limited due to trying to use the innovative Wii motes.

Even though alot of reviews are downing this game i rather enjoyed it i have played games like splitter cell and i thought this was much more enjoyable that that. I think u can have alot of fun on this game also riding on jet skis while shooting people its rather challenging game. I have played better game i do admit but tell u the truth not many i would defintly buy this game espically since its price has dropped.

I really like the Wii mote for most games, Zelda is by far the best use of it, and yes the graphics are not as good as the 360. Then buy the 360. Most people buy the Wii for fun interactive which this game does decent use to. This game plays well on the Wii.

The game itself is alright, but it does take quite a bit of getting used to. One of the nice things is the auto-targeting. Since it takes quite a while to get used to aiming with your right hand, while moving with the nunchuck, the auto-target is very helpful.
The two player really wasn't that fun. One person turns into the predator, and then they do, they only attack with their hands, but it only takes one hit to kill the other person when you find them. You can't have 2 players going through the game which would have made it a lot better.
Besides just walking around and looking around, it is difficult to do some moves because of the Wii. Jumping, slashing with the machete, and throwing grenades or molotov cocktails require you to throw your arm, but then the aiming is off so you throw it all over the place. That is one part that really never got any easier.
It definitely does have a lot of potential though. The guns that you get are fun, you can dual wield, and you do get a lot of variety of your guns. If you can just get used to moving around with the controls, then it can be fun. Just don't get too excited, as you forget when you're doing and then you're looking at the sky while running into a wall while you are being killed.

Fun shooter. Controls take a little getting used to. You must use the numchuk with the Wii remote. Hard to control when you enter primal mode. Don't pay too much for this game...you should be able to get it for under $15 shipped. All in all it's a fun cheap game.

Far Cry Vengence (Wii)I haven't quite finished with this game yet, but it is very exciting and challenging. The sound, graphics, and colors are very good. I would recommend this game to who ever likes shooting and suspense and survival.

Sorry I bought thisGraphics are low and not very detailed

Without a doubt, Far Cry has the most advanced graphics seen in any PC game to date. Everything in this game looks amazing, and the level of verisimilitude is unprecedented. Jungles actually feature dense foliage that consists of trees, plants, and tall grasses, and this foliage is filled with birds and insects. Beaches have blinding-white sand, and the surf slowly laps ashore. The character models are some of the best we've ever seen in such a game, and they're richly detailed and animated. The game also incorporates real-time lighting and shading effects to a degree rarely seen before, so when you walk in the jungle, you actually see the shadows of overhead leaves flickering on your rifle. In some of the larger indoor levels, the shadows of oncoming opponents are projected in larger-than-life form onto walls. Intense heat blur from lava streams distort the atmosphere. And a near miss from an enemy rocket will black out your vision--as if you got the wind knocked out of you. You can't help but be pulled in by the sheer immersiveness of the game.
During the many firefights in Far Cry, you'll go up against cunning opponents, such as mercenaries who know how to use cover. They'll run between cover while shooting at you along the way. The lushness of the jungle usually means that these engagements turn into cat-and-mouse affairs, where you slowly stalk your prey. The jungle is so dense, however, that you often can't see your enemies until you're practically right on top of them. Sound plays an important part in the game at these moments, because you can track opponents by their sounds, and they can track you by yours. You can throw a rock to create a distraction, and you can crawl around the jungle to make as little noise as possible. Stealth can play a critical role in the game at times, and one of the few complaints we have about it is that the enemy artificial intelligence seems to have a very low detection threshold. If you make the slightest noise, all the bad guys in the vicinity go to full alert, rather than investigating further.

From the get go, you realize that this game was obviously not designed for the Wii. Now With that said, the game play is adapted very nicely to the Wii, I have played this game on almost every console as well as PC. This game is still best played on the PC. If your not a PC gamer, then this game may not be for you. This takes the "PC Gamer" Attitude and sticks it into a new-age console, and leaves you thinking, meh that was fun.

Poor gameplay. The computer version was great, Wii version not great. It's way too hard to move around and enjoy the game. It's almost impossible to walk around and aim at the enemy. It's hard to enjoy the great storyline when you're trying to just get from point A to B. Also the graphics was not great at all.
