Publisher's Note Featuring comprehensive, entertaining, and easy-to-access answers to the world's most pressing questions, "The FAQs of Life" is the perfect place to turn for information. Here are over 2,500 of the most frequently asked questions and their answers on every topic imaginable.
Industry Reviews It was only a matter of time until life started imitating the Internet, and this is one of the first such examples. This work offers information in question-and-answer format under broad categories such as computers, raising children, indulgences (e.g., beer, chocolate), and personal care. Unfortunately, it lives up to the cuteness of the title, offering only lightweight answers to expert-compiled questions, including, for example, how to prevent breast cancer. Answer sources are given at the end of each category but are inadequate for further investigation. The format is not unusual for a reference work, but these are questions for which more thorough answers are readily available in other sources. Not recommended. Glynys Thomas, Suffolk Univ. Lib., Boston Adil
