Family Guy (PlayStation 2, 2006)

Once again I had high expectations for a game and I was wrong once again! This game you play as the characters from the Hit TV Show 'Family Guy'. There was almost no interaction, and the graphics where lame as a horse with a broken leg. I will give it this tho, there where some parts where I could not stop laughing, you know, its so stupid you have to laugh. When I bought it I sat down and played it non stop and I cannot tell you how long it took but it was far under 24 hours when I finished the game. I would not recomend this game to anybody.

while this game has all the humor and trademark family guy characters (jasper, angry monkey, greased up deaf guy etc) it still finds itself lacking in many crucial areas. gameplay is stiff, there are many computer errors in which your character completely leaves the "game world" or the area you are in, and then travels off into darkness, or through walls or worse. to make things worse, there is little to none unlockable content, leaving the user with a rather large sized amount of disapointment. don't make the same mistake i did...if you wanna play, rent don't buy.

The game is too short and too boring. You play as Stewie, Brian, and Peter. With Stewie, you just shoot things, with Brian, you just walk around, and with Peter, you just punch things. Don't get me wrong, the game has it's funny moments. But they are just not good enough to overcome the multiple glitches, boring storyline, and repetitive levels. Don't buy it.

I went against what the other reviews said about this game being just ok and also going fast. Yep, they were right. The game had its moments, but overall it wasn't nearly as funny as the show and I would just rather watch the show than play this game.

Family Guy

I was bored, rented Family Guy, beat it in 5 hours, wanted to stop playing after about 35 minutes but had nothing to do.

The game is good for the first scenes of each character... other than Stewie (who gets to do more than one thing) the rest of the game is far too repetitive to be good.

Brian does nothing but walk around collecting things but can't be seen. It's boring and annoying.

Peter walks around kicking and punching people (but can't do both, it's either or, which is stupid as well)

Stewie gets to use a gun, mind control, slide on his belly, surf, etc... if it wasn't for Stewies part in this game I would've taken in it back right away.

The cut scenes are sometimes funny but aren't explained to you so you just hope you get it right, and the game glitches.

If you rent it you will be able to beat it in 3-5 days playing off and on
It was just a bunch of nonsense with a repeating game play/ stories
You play as Brian then you play as Peter then you play as Stewie
All alternating like three different games with in a game
It sounds good, but it's terrible Peter's part sucked and was just Peter beating up kids and old children for no reason...Brian's part was horrendous and i absolutely despised playing his section as It's just Brian finding clues and hiding in shadows while trying not to pee while Joe Swanson is looking for him all while Brian is trying to find the real father of Mr. Pewtershmidt's dog's babies...Stewies part is halfway decent Bertram (Stewie's brother from the episode where Stewie shrunk himself to prevent Lois from having another baby) escaped from being one of Peter's seaman at the sperm donating clinic and is born and trying to take over the world...you have to stop him and his army of clones with upgradeable weapons which is all the only good part of this game...If they made this game where you can play each one of these characters separate it would be Average, but since you have to play Brian's horrendous character every third time this game pretty much sucked...Stewey's part was enjoyable, fun and hilarious, but i only recommend this game to the most die hard Family Guy aficionado...Take it from me I love the TV show bought this game the week it cam out played and beat it and am now selling it on eBay to try and make half my wasted money back

because i like family guy and always wanted the game also because i think it would have been a good game to play. i like that you can play three different story modes t once.

My old PS2 would not play certain games, but this Family Guy game worked well on it until I can find or buy another PS2 that works.

been waiting to play this game,,Family Guy,,alot of short and easy but sometimes frustrating quests..Glad I was able to get it for a good deal. It provides something to do to kill time but not as fun as watching the show..still it is funny and has provide hours of family guy humor.If you like family guy,,you will get your laughs with the game too.

As a huge fan of the show, I was really excited to play this game. Of course, because of this, I think I am really bias when it comes to judge how good this game actually is. Simply as a fan, I can look past the game's weak points and lack of depth to enjoy the authentic voice overs and signature nonsequiters.

I love this game because if you watch the show then you'll get all the jokes and it's just good for relaxing after a long day of work, comedy with enough of a challenge that it can still be a top game for the ps2.

i love this product b/c this show rocks!!! i didnt even know they had a game out. one of the reasons i decided to buy this game is b/c my b/f is a huge fan of the show! his b-day is coming up soon ,and i couldn't think of what to get him til i saw this game online. the other reason why i bought this one and not another was b/c it had a short amount of time left on the item.

Had one before - wore it out - Needed another one so came to ebay to buy it - Very entertaining!!!! And will keep you busy for hours and is very fun to play It is rated M for mature but not real bad words in the game.. This will be liked by all especially the Fans of The Family Guy!!!!

Too many sexual overtones.

There are better games out there. I would not recommend this fr anyone under the age of twelve and would not purchase it for anyone over sixteen. I wish I had rented it prior to purchase for my teenage son. We are reselling it to someone that doesn't object to graphic violence and adult humor. I know it's what the cartoon proposes, but sometimes it can be really funny, this PS2 is just plain raunchy.

My son loves this game. I bought it b/c he put it on his xmas list and i got it cheaper online than what I would have paid for it in the store

Purchased the Family Guy video game for PS2. Graphics are disappointing. Game play is too. I bought used for about $10 bucks, but understand the game goes for about $30 new. Do not buy new! Even $10 bucks seems kind of high for this game and I love the show.

Great Item, came fast and in really good condition. very please to add this item to my collection of family guy games and dvd's.

I liked the idea of a Family Guy video game, but the graphics were quite disappointing. The characters look like they were drawn or created with a very old program - there were rough edges to the characters' faces where there should have been more rounded features. However, the character voices are the same ones from the TV series. The complexity of the individual games (Stewie's satellite dish, Brian's escape, etc.) progressed as you went along. Overall, I think it is a good game for mature audiences - it is not appropriate for children under 17 (IMHO).

It's like being part of the real tv type game. I bought it because my boyfriend loves family guy and stewie. :)
