  Great Cheap Game!!

This game is set in a post apocalyptic setting. Has an over head view like Loaded for Ps1 or like a newer game you might know, X-Men Legends. You pick from 3 different characters, a huge guy, a girl, or a zombie fallout freak. You go around killing anything and everything you find. Your looking for your friends, talk to towns people (including a hooker) and get tasks to do like kill 50+ scorpions in a warehouse. You get many many weapons like, flamethrowers, spiked metal gloves, baseball bats, sledge hammers, many different kinds of guns, and many different kinds of bombs. The more you kill the more experience you get, and you get points to put toward a ton of cool stuff that makes you character better, like hit harder, have a dog companion, shoot harder, faster, live longer, etc. The graphics are great, music rocks, and is very mature game. Much cursing, killing, and sexual themes. I don't know why this game doesn't sell for much more. I think it should be a top seller really.

Great game. I forgot about this version of Fallout for PS2. I have played the same game on PC but the ease of control in this version and the fun game play is awesome. It was also a great bargain from this seller.

This game is awesome i bought it again cause i lost it
Review created: 10/23/08(updated 11/03/08)

Fallout is one of the best game series period, awaiting the new release of Fallout 3 i bought FOBS again.

This game is a side story to the other fallouts in the series, there is no direct relation to the earlier ones except for the brotherhood of steel that appears in every Fallout series as well as some supporting characters, for example there is always a dog named dogmeat and a goul named harold.

It has 4 chapters, good story and narrations, 3rd person game play with cool graphics and role playing game play. It all flows very nicely. The story consists of your character (3 to choose from in the beggining, 6 total with unlockables) trying to join the brotherhood of steel and in the progress you help out many groups of people, mainly through killing common enemies.

Although it is not as good as the earlier fallouts, it is still interplay made. Alot of the originallity of the story, characters, and gameplay are in this title. It mainly reaches out to people who havent played any fallout games before, it appeals to a wider audience with more fast paced action and multiplayer gameplay.

This game is rated M for mature and with good reason. It has some blood and violence just like the other fallouts, and if you enjoy humorous violence and sexual innuendos than this is a game for you.

  Fallout:Brotherhood of Steel
Review created: 08/11/08(updated 02/27/09)

This game is an OK game (But not a Fallout turn base style game). The graphic's are decent. The story pretty good. The fun factor is average. The game it self has a few minor glitches but not to the point where it ruin's the fun. Also the camera could have been better. This game is pretty much a crappy Bauldur's Gate:Dark Alliance game with wanna be Fallout theme. So if you liked that game (Bauldur's Gate:Dark Alliance) you'll probably like this one...probably.The character's where pretty generic but fun.You can unlock other character's but you have to start all over if you wan't to play with them (which sucked).Plenty of hack and slash fun though. This game is a game to buy if your bored/waiting for another game to come out.But a fan of the Fallout franchise might wan't to stay away.

  A huge fall from greatness

After playing through the Champions of Norrath series and enjoying my sweet time with the Baldur's Gate series, I decided to try the next in my favorite genre of games. I went with Fallout. This game was quite a disappointment. It had absolutely no complexity, no interesting gear, no replay value, and the characters didn't pull me in whatsoever. I think the worst quality about this game, though, is the fact that almost every single level looks identical. The wasteland setting is cool for a little while, but then it really starts to get old. And to try and change it up, they put you in industrial or factory looking areas, but that ends up becoming a bad taste in your mouth as well. The game feels unfinished compared to its counterparts in the genre. Stick with Champions of Norrath, Baldur's Gate, or even the low-rated Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows. Sorry guys, but this game doesn't meet up to a dungeon crawler's expectations.

  Fallout on the Playstation
Review created: 03/08/07

This game I really enjoyed. I have always been a fan of the Fallout games on the PC, and though this title cannot be called the best in the series it is still quite good. It is a top-view rpg set in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout. You interact with people and obtain information\quests, etc. Battling is straightforward and simple. I played through it in about ten hours, and played through it four times using different characters each time. I recommend it to rpg fans or Fallout fans. Be warned though! It is rated M for excessive language, sexual themes, and drug use. So... keep it away from the little ones! :)

Fallout Brotherhood of Steel Playstation 2
Review created: 12/07/06

This was number one item on my teenage grandaughter's wish list. Wish lists are so much easier to fill on Ebay. Driving around from store to store searching for this specific item would likely have been time consuming and of course costly with the price of gas. The purchase was quick and easy and priced right. Although I do not intend to play this game, my grandaughter assures me that it is one of the best games available, and that I am missing out on something special.

  Great Game For Mature Only
Review created: 10/08/06

If you have played the great PC Game Fallout or Fallout 2, this is a sort of spin off of the series. It even has the original guy from the first Fallout game as a mysterious traveler of the wastelands. You have the same collection of badguys from the Radscorpions to Mutants, with everyone trying to take you out from start to end. I have enjoyed this game and hope they make a new one for the PS3. If you are a true Fallout fan or just a fan of shoot um up Mad Max like Games this is one you should try.
