FairyTale: A True Story (DVD, 2003)

Definitely a must see movie for those of you who have ever wondered about Faeries. This movie will surely keep the imagination and the child within you alive. I do not recommend it for children under 8, because it is NOT animated and hard to keep their interest. But 8 and up LOVE it! This was said to be a true story, but the girls later recanted their story due to years of serious harassment. See for yourself. Truth or Fiction? Very hard to believe these little girls (8 & 10 yrs old) could manufacture fake pictures in this Era. Cameras were still in their infancy. Anyway, a great little movie whether you believe it or not!

A very charming story, that is very entertaining for the whole family. Would recommend to everyone.

I seen this movie 11 years ago with my 2 childern . Ages at that time were 4 yrs, 6 yrs, my one child is adhd . Just meaning that he is hyper. He sat through this movie with out it loosing his interest. I was amased to find it again. Now I will have a movie that I'll pass down to grand childern, One of these days, It is intreging, and mesmerizing.Gets childern to use their imagination. So get this movie and share it with the little ones in your life.

Very good story line a great movie for the Kids. I and wife both enjoyed it very much. It's one we will watch again and again.

This Christmas (2007) gift was perfect for my wife- and she loved it! As much as I did, I hope! Fairy tale, or not, it reminded me of what it felt like to be a child and yearning to believe that hope was worth believing in!

The fairies in this movie were incredible- what a wonderful special effect! One doesn't have to believe in fairies to enjoy some make-believe! I loved this story... every bit of it, the finding of the special place by the little creek... building the little house and rooms... talking to and loving the little fairies...

And tears certainly came easily to my eyes at the great surprise at the end of the movie! I won't ruin it for you. See this film! And don't miss one second of it!

I bought this dvd for my sister who loves fairies. I especially liked that it came with a little fairy. An adorable little plastic fairy. Its a great movie.

An excellent movie that can be enjoyed by the whole family. It was very entertaining and a pleasant experience. It makes "make believe" almost believable!!

i always loved this movie, i had it on vhs and wanted to get it on dvd..i went on ebay searching for it with every intention of purchasing it and was delighted with not only the purchase, but also with the speed at which i recieved it

This is a cute movie. Everyone in the family ( young and old ) loved it. It's one of those stories that makes you want to BELIEVE. Great for the kids...they sat there without moving the whole movie.

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. It is a delightful story that leaves you wondering if fairies truly exist. This year I'm giving my granddaughter a "fairy" Christmas with this movie along with the new Tinkerbell movie and a fairy house with play figures.

the first one out!! Truly excellant acting and soundtrack is awesome.

This movie was both entertaining and compelling. Like most people I had heard of the "Cottingley Fairies" and story behind them. But this movie created a fantasy that will make adults smile and children believe in fairies. My daughters both absolutely loved this film as children and still do today.

This is the type of movie that makes one want to believe in Fairies... which I do!
It is beautifully written and acted. If I could pick anywhere to live... this would be the place!!

Bought this movie for my daughter. She loves fairies. Love the fact that it is true and gives everybody a chance to have an open mind about things. There is not one thing I disliked about this movie.
