Good movie designed for parents to appreciate with kids
If promoted differently, this movie could've easily been the elusive "Fairly Odd Parents" theatrical movie instead of the one that was planned and shelved.
Not only very entertaining for the kids, but adults (especially those who were kids in the mid-1960s to mid-70s) will get a major kick out of the amazing job of satiring almost all of the children's shows and cartoons of an earlier era.
Fans will also recognize and appreciate the plot similarities to the somewhat obscure John Ritter film "Stay Tuned" and the much more recent (after this film came out) Disney film "Meet the Robinsons".
All in all, a joy and a surprise treat that I highly recommend.
