I decided to purchase this book because my councilor suggested it to me. I have had problems with anxiety for years. I have tried a few books before this and found them vage and of no help. I am still reading this, but have found it very straight forward and very intuitive. I plan on recommending it to a few friends. I have received a lot of insight into famliy dynamics and and the thinking prosess. I feel that I finally have a place to start and an end in sight.

  Facing Codependence Book
Review created: 10/15/08

This is an excellent book, easy to read and understand. Gives a lot of detail into why we think the way we do and what caused it. It also gives information on how we can change our behavior and thinking patterns to become healthier, and more productive people.

A Good Guide to Mental Health

This book tackles the all too common dysfunctions of everyday people. It would appear that almost everyone is co-dependant, from the wide spectrum of problems that are addressed. Nevertheless, I found this book very helpful, well written, and understandable. I bought it because I wanted to learn more about co-dependency. I have found it very worthwhile.

book EVERYONE needs to read for a better life!
Review created: 07/01/06

This book has helped me and many people that I have loaned it to or bougtht them a copy. Seems like I am always having to replace this book. I found it not only helps people with their own problems, but explains what behaviors come out of us and how it affects others. When I first read this book years ago I found myself and all those around me, famiy included, in the descriptions of peoples behaviors. It truely changed my life and I have watched it change others lives. It is nice to have answers and to understand our behavior better. We can't change what we don't know or understand about ourselves. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to change and who want to understand why they behave some of the ways we do! We are all Co-dependent on some level.
