Fablehaven by Brandon Mull (2007, Paperback, Reprint)

I liked how the author seemed to put himself in the shoes of the character Seth. To me it seems as if the author could have been this type of mischievous when he was about 11 years old. I also like how the characters are gradually introduced to Fablehaven and they have to accept small parts first before they can be trusted with more. This was a great read and a good page turner.

I did not like how too many things were thrust at the reader all at once. It was hard to keep up with who was who and the plot. But luckily it all comes about in the end.

First, it will not provide the tracking number to the customer
Second, it said the book is sent by 5/7 but it sent on 5/21, a big liar.
Thrid, if you want to wait a month to get your order, then order from this company

My 11 year old daughter reads this series and absolutely loves it! If you love Fantasy books, this is for you!

I bought the book for a young friend who likes these books. The seller had very good response time and very good shipping.
These books are hard to find in stores either new or used and so this was a real bargain. I am most pleased to have found it for such a great price.

Should be on any teachers reading shelf for middle school. Also, I am happy there will be other books coming out in this series.

This is a novel I could read to my kids, if I wanted them to have nightmares about strangle mythical creatures including goblins, demons, and giant cows! Mull is a clever author that is sure to keep young readers and adults up late past their bedtimes reading and imaging what will happen next.

I just read Book 1 that I bought at an autograph signing with Brandon at Barnes and Noble in Idaho Falls, ID. He was a very nice man who goes from school to school talking to children about using imagination and writing.
The Book was wonderful. I liked it better than Harry Potter because I could relate to the chilren better, they were exactly like 2 of my children.The way the children interacted was real. And when Seth caught a fairey, that was just the way I thought my son would do it.
I really enjoyed the description of the fairies, witches, trolls, and even the area "Fablehaven" that they were visiting. I wont spoil any part of the book for anyone, but I read the entire book in 1 day (dinner could wait, wishing the "brownies" would do it for me- read the book)
I had purchased the 1st 2 books at the Autograph signing as well as The Candy Shop War. I can't wait to start the next.
In closing,Read the book. I also wish I had Grandparents like them. Use your imagination and open your eyes and you'll never know what you'll see. The possibilities are endless. I hope there is a movie coming out, if not, there should be.
