Fablehaven by Brandon Mull (2007) Wendy4172

I just read Book 1 that I bought at an autograph signing with Brandon at Barnes and Noble in Idaho Falls, ID. He was a very nice man who goes from school to school talking to children about using imagination and writing.
The Book was wonderful. I liked it better than Harry Potter because I could relate to the chilren better, they were exactly like 2 of my children. The way the children interacted was real. And when Seth caught a fairey, that was just the way I thought my son would do it.
I really enjoyed the description of the fairies, witches, trolls, and even the area "Fablehaven" that they were visiting. I wont spoil any part of the book for anyone, but I read the entire book in 1 day (dinner could wait, wishing the "brownies" would do it for me- read the book)
I had purchased the 1st 2 books at the Autograph signing as well as The Candy Shop War. I can't wait to start the next.
In closing,Read the book. I also wish I had Grandparents like them. Use your imagination and open your eyes and you'll never know what you'll see. The possibilities are endless. I hope there is a movie coming out, if not, there should be.
