Fable II (Xbox 360, 2008)

I wasn't quite sure what to think about this game going into it but I was glad that I gave it a chance. The main negative I was hearing is that the game is easy and it’s actually very true. There isn’t a great deal of challenge to this game and there’s a good chance that most people will be able to complete a full playthrough while counting the times they died on 1 hand.

That said, the story, gameplay and incredible massive world more than makes up for the ease. There is so much to do outside of the quests and storyline that logging in for just 15 minutes can actually be productive. One of the nicest features for the casual player is the feature that earns gold periodically while playing AND when logged off. Local single-screen co-op (using the main character and a created generic henchman) can be challenging at times but is a nice option to have.

There’s just too much to go into now that I’m thinking about it but give the game a shot if you’re a fan of games like Fallout 3, Oblivion, Mass Effect, etc. Very entertaining and at these prices currently is definitely worth every penny.
