The FIRM - Jiggle Free Abs (DVD, 2006)

I was a little nervous about trying this DVD. Twenty five minutes on just the abs seemed intimidating. However, there is one participant showing modifications. I started by following her and was able to keep up. One thing I really liked about this DVD is that Allie Del Rio provides time to stretch throughout the workout rather than just one long stretch at the end. There is also a lot of variety which allows you to really feel the work in all areas of your abs. Also, I saw moves in this DVD that I had not seen prior to doing it which I like. As you might expect, it does not do much in the way of cardio, but that is not its intended purpose. It is a good, solid workout without being completely impossible. It may not be as challenging as an advanced exerciser would like, but I think intermediates will be challenged, and beginners will be very much so. As with any DVD that focuses on one area, remember that you cannot spot reduce. I think many people expect a tape that focuses on abs to make their stomachs thinner. You can have rock hard abs, but they may not be visible unless you are already fairly fit.Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to supplement their workout regimen. It is not a stand-alone workout, but it would complement a regular routine nicely and allow exercisers to focus on getting the abs they want.

I received this DVD very quickly and great shape. I really enjoy it. It's a great workout and time flys. It is very effective.
