FAQS (DVD, 2006)

After seeing a preview for FAQS on another dvd, I decided I wanted to see it. I couldn't, because not alot of video stores carry TLA Releasing products. So I bought it. It was worth it. The premise of the story is a gay youth is rescued from an attack by a vigilante drag queen. After the rescue, we discover that our youth needs guidance on life in the gay culture. Which he recieves, and also provides to a surprising person. It's a really great story about discovery and help. A couple of love themes surface, and the film does a great job at displaying different levels of love, acceptance, self acceptance and growth. Definately worth the price you pay and worth having in any dvd collection.
