graphics are even better than last and most recent Fear (with expansion packet stuff). Love the fact that when you shoot the bads guys it doesnt take a million shots to drop them. This version really raises the hair on the back of my neck and good story line.

This is the second F.E.A.R. deal. i was upset at the price and way the first ended. But I made a decision to get the next that came out. I am glsd I did.

It picks up where it left off and wham your involved! Cool graphics and action like the first and the crazy sureal images. This is a must buy for those that liked the first or were looking for a little more.

LOVE: Great weapon sounds and more gore. Better than the first one.
DISLIKE: This is a STEAM powered product... they suck. They require that you set up an account with them and it's for ONE user only FOR LIFE! That's a huge problem when you've outgrown it and want to sell it to someone else. It really should be illegal! Check out their web site if you don't belive me.

Games that use the STEAM system are a very bad choice. I have had all of the previous FEAR games and each has been progressively more difficult to get registered and played. I finally uninstalled FEAR 2 as even after calls to customer support STEAM would not update and load the game. You are not buying a game, you are just renting it and have no control over how it will play on your PC. STEAM provides no added value and just makes it's subscribing PC games more buggy. And now I cannot even sell this dog to someone else. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Just can say that Presure Mandate was much better!!!!! This game to short and not scary how it was before!! Simple shooter!!!

i just bought this item but when i tried to play it a virus came up and when i tried to speak with the seller it showed that the seller is no longer an ebay member so i couldnt do anything about it!!! i wish someone could help me on this 1

I bought the game three-four weeks ago. When it came to me it was so easy for me to install it. i put the disc in my pc ,i follow the instuctions and thats it!When i was playing the game never my pc stopped or shutted down!All was ok!

Good product but does have its dissadvantages hard install due to anti virus problems but if your looking for a cheap way to play new games then this is the way for you. I would recomend this seller to my friends but for some reason his ebay account has dissapeared.

So unbeknownst to me FEAR 2 is protected *grimace* by steam. This means that you must have an internet connection to install, witch my gaming rig does not have, then after that you have to sit through hours of updates before you can even PLAY the game.
So while I was sitting through all of this after I had to move all of my stuff to an internet connection at my friends house, I was hoping that the gamplay would be good enough to make all of this worth it, and I guess it was. It is a fun game with good graphics, and great plot. However I will never buy another STEAM game ever.

Well, I have been a FPS gamer for years now. too many years!
I like the first series of FEAR and decided to play this game.
I have a bad a$$ system, 24 inch LCD and 7.1 JVC surround system.

So I plug this new game in and start playing. It totally emersed me and I must say, there were times that I actually jumped in my chair!
I wont ruin he game for you with spoilers, but wow! there are some things in the game that jut jumped out and scared the heck out of me!

Cons - STEAM protected so don't expect to play for at least an hour or two after you install and all the updates are downloaded. No lean keys if you use. Very repetitive but most FPS are
Other - I bought because I liked the first F.E.A.R. but fortunately it did NOT have STEAM if I would have realized this had STEAM I probably would not have bought

This was a fun ride. I recently played the first one because a friend recomended it, and then I wanted to play 2nd. Playing the second game you can feel it is more console orientated. The AI didn't seem as good and the support for mouse thumb buttons is not there. Graphics wise, Monoliths engine still holds up well and looks great. Since the latest patches the widescreen aspect ratio has been fixed so it looks normal again. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a solid shooter with some great scary moments, and a must play for FEAR fans. I'd give it a 85/100.

I have followed all the F.E.A.R. games and find this one the best. Great graphics and play. Hours of enertainment. Play over and over at increasing
skill levels.

I'd have to say I was more impressed by the free demo than the complete game of this sequel. I really liked the spooky atmosphere of the first F.E.A.R. and thought it added some excitement to what was essentially another fps w/Max Payne slo-mo bullet time. The destructible environments & new mech toy was fun in #2, but didn't make it different enough from the 1st game. I've played BioShock since playing the first F.E.A.R., and they also did a creepy scenario but did something different with the standard fps story & play. They needed to do something else w/the game play in F.E.A.R. 2 or advance the story. Play the free demo b/c they condensed all the excitement of the 2nd game into it.

Great game! will definitely freak you out if you are into scary games like I am! This will definitely keep you busy with tons of difficulty and addicting game attractions!

My computer however is having a bit of trouble playing it. took forever to load and now is freezing. my computer is 5 years old even though i installed a new video card this year, i think the game is too advanced for my 2004 dell dimentions 8400. thanks for the great service.

Das Spiel wurde zu einem sehr interessanten Preis angeboten. Die Singleplayer Version lässt sich ohne Einschränkung spielen, die Online-Version nur auf russischen Servern. Aber dazu wollte ich das Spiel auch nicht. Das Spiel selber ist sehr spannend, die Gegner sind, selbst im "Hard"-Modus für geübte Zocker nicht unbedingt eine Herausforderung. Trotzdem ist es spannend und kurzweilig. Damit kann man sich einige Tage beschäftigen. Man sollte aber einigermaßen Englisch (oder Russisch..;-)) ) können, um dem Spielverlauf folgen zu können. Außerdem ist es eine recht blutige Geschichte, die einzelnen Orte sind gelegentlich wirklich recht krass. Grafik und Sound sind von hoher Qualität und benötigen ordentlich Rechnerleistung.
Der Versand war in Relation zu Dauer und Preis durchaus akzeptabel. Das Spiel war original verpackt, ich bin auch überzeugt dfavon, dass es sich um ein Original handelt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde dort jederzeit wieder kaufen.

The game had an awesome suspense/ horror feel to it, along with enough shooting to keep you on your toes. it was sorta like dead space except this game had more action i think
