Eye of the Tiger by Survivor (CD, Mar-1991, Volcano 3)

I am a huge fan of Sylvester Stallone and when I first heard Eye of the Tiger, the song was just awesome. This song has a lot of meaning to me because it represents competition, being the the best that you can be, out to be on top of it all. Also, this song has been an inspiration of my love of jewelry, because I love Tiger eye stones. Some of my jewelry collection is Tiger eye.
So when I wear my Tiger eye jewelry, I just have to play this song. Love

This is the band's third album and their first break.Released in 1982 this album spawned one of the best rock songs of the 80's.Thanks to Sylvester Stallone the band had the chance to make it big and they did not miss the opportunity.The title track used in Sylvester Stallone's Rocky was a huge hit. The other outstanding song is track 8:American Heartbeat.
This is overall a very good album,well worth the money.If U like the 80's mainstream rock this is a must have! Enjoy

Classic album, classic band, these guys ae still out there playing calssics for us. This is the biggee, they have a few others before this and after that are worth picking up also. I dont think anyone on earth doesnt know this title, if they dont , you shouldnt talk them, this is not just a 1 track cd, it was going to be titled, "The one that really matters" for a reason, add it to your collection.
