Extreme Days (DVD, 2002)

This is a fun movie with good music. All the extreme sports really appeal to my teens. We sat right down and watched it during Christmas vacation.

It's Good clean fun for everyone of any age. There's all kinds of action, paint ball, snowbording, etc. It's an all around fun story and is very subtle but present with good morals.

This flick is a good, solid movie with a pure plot line. All too often, Hollywood produces films with underlying messages that encourage pre-martial sex, that drugs and alcohol are necessary for a good time, or that just have no real point. Extreme Days is a very poignant movie that promotes abstinence, the true meaning of friendship, and weaves in messages of forgiveness of oneself and of others. In spite of this, it is one of the most exciting movies, filled with extreme sports action, that I have seen recently. This movie is great for events like youth group movie nights or just to have on hand if your house is constantly being invaded by teenagers.
Extreme sports include: snowboarding, paintball, surfing, skateboarding, and dune-jumping motorcycling.

I've seen this movie at least 6 times. There is so much to laugh about. Something new each time. It is a good clean movie.

We saw this movie a few years ago in the theater. My children loved it. We had purchased a VHS tape of it and they played it so much the tape failed. We had been looking for a DVD version and found one on eBay. My kids were very excited to see the movie again, so much so that they called me at work to ask for permission to open the package and watch it. The movie teaches values of faith and friendship with lots of humor. Also has many fine extreme sports scenes too.
