This book is interesting in the fact that the author points out in no uncertain terms that your level of (and ability to) learning is totally dependent on your interest. I thought that was very well put. If you don't like something, don't force yourself to learn it because you won't.
The author takes you through the entire process for scrying. You are given lots of options to figure out what suits you.
I'd recommend this book to the curious.
