Experiencing the World's Religions by Michael Molloy (2004, Paperback)

I really upset because i never get the book, i try to reach the seller but nothing.... they stole from me!

I purchased this book for a course I am taking in World religions. After two months, I have yet to recieve it and have yet to receive a refund. I would not recommend using this site for purchases.

Molloy does an excellent job of being nuetral in each chapter about each religion. He never degrades or uplifts any religion over another, very nuetral.

I liked that the book got here on time for school to start. I would order again from this person. thanks again

Great book. Great way to study religions. Easy to use and good illustrations. I tool a summer class in College with this book, and as fast as it was we could take all the material and achieve the knowledge asked in the course by studying with the book. I do not use books to study, but in a matter as complicated as religion with this book I completely felt like it was easy and good for my course.

didnt take near as long as i thought it was....book was in imaculate shape. i got it just in time for my world religions class. thank you for your efficiency

This textbook was assigned for my World Religions Class and was very informative. It is confirmed that Molloy usually incorporates similar features between editions. Therefore the editions do not vary very much. What I liked about the product: it was a pretty good read. There was nothing that I really disliked about the book.

This book gives good insights on the many cultures of the world in which one can learn easily from. The author breaks it down for you so you may be able to learn how the religion started and the many facts about it. Great book.

Easy to follow, and filled with information. It's obvious to see the connections between everything (it's not just random facts), and it's all explained in simple, basic terms. He uses the proper terminology with explainations, so it gives a good bases for understanding the larger picture.
It's perhaps not THE greatest textbook in the world, but it's far from the worst.
It's fairly unbiased in opinions as far as I've read/studied. It gives a good basis, but it is just a survey. To go in depth, I would recommend this textbook first, then increase in depth and complexity from there.

Pairs well with Novak's <i>The World's Wisdom</i>.
