Excercise Physiology by Edward T. Howley, Powers
I bought this book as a textbook for my Applied Physiology course in my studies for my doctorate in physical therapy. I like the book because it lays out the details in an organized manner and explains things in a way that makes them more clear, but not in a way that over complicates matters. I dislike it because sometimes the book seems to jump around too much, and go back and forth between concepts when it would seem to be more efficient just to finish explaining one topic before moving on to the next. Overall, though, I think the book is very helpful in my course and in my studies.
