Exciter by Depeche Mode (CD, May-2001, Reprise)

I got it to add to mine. I really only like Goodnight Lovers, that was the reason I got it on ebay. I am a DM fan, love most of their work, this album is ok, not their best, not their worst! Worth the listen...

I am a total DM addict, once you're into DM there is no going back. Exciter is my favourite album by far. Although not as popular as some of their other mainstream(?) albums, this one is pure sex. A must for anyone who likes erotic infused music!

I think they are still 'finding' themselves w/ out alan wilder. A better showing the their previous Ultra. But thier lastest, Playing the Angle, is even more a step closer to showing the world--this is one damn good band!

I have always been a Depeche Mode fan. Although this CD, Exciter, is not my favorite of their albums, it is a good job overall and as always showcases Dave Gahan's great voice.

I am not a big fan of this group, but in my opinion, this is one of the best, masterpiece album, which should be in the collection from any connoisseur of good music. Definitely recommend anyone to listen!

Even though the title is Exciter, I found this album to be less than exciting. Alot of the songs are slow and I found that this album lacked the same catchiness & pazazz as most of their other albums do. The only track that I found exciting was "Dead of Night" Very dark, sleazy but yet sexy!! The beat is very hypnotic.........

Love Depeche mode but this album lacks some of the hit type singles that make them the best. This album reminds me of Violator,had a depressed feel with no hits. But its a must for your collection!

I bought Depeche Mode's 'Exciter' CD a weeks ago and was impressed with how good the condition was, no scratches, no torn pages, no smudges....really great too considering it was so inexpensive!

Starting off right with a NIN vibe Exciter promises to be a great album but doesn't quite get there. Some songs are great (the opener Dream On) some are both great and aweful (The Dead Of Night) and some are flat out pathetic (Breathe). This album is so schizophrenic that I'm loving it and hating it at the same time. Guess I'll compromise somewhere in the middle and give it 3 Stars.

I bought it because the price was great! I like this CD like all Depeche mode!
I had a copy of this cd but it was lost somewhere. :(
My son also likes this cd since he was like 2 years old so, i looked for it and it was there so i bought it! great deal!
