Excavation by James Rollins (2000, Paperback, Illustrated)

An Amazing tale. This writter has one of the biggest imaginations ever. I've read all but one of his books and this is one of my favorites.

I enjoyed this book because it was written in the usual James Rollins style--NON STOP ACTION!!!! I bought the book because I had enjoyed other books by James Rollins. If you enjoy good action books, then author James Rollins is recommended!!!!

Good book. I always enjoy James Rollins. His research is excellent and his imagination is great! He takes you on a really wild ride...

Loved this book just like I do all of James Rollins books. Hard to put down till finished. Can't wait for his next one.

Out of the six James Rollins I've read to date, this is by far my favorite.

Unlike some of his later works, this novels characters are well-formed, interesting and believable. Their relationships work and provide excellent sub-plot fodder that helps enhances the story line.

The story line and sub-plots are brilliant and well thought-out. The perfect blend of mystery, action adventure, paranormal and science fiction.

The clues to the mystery are not dumbed-down and blatant as in some of his more recent "Hollywood style" novels. I was actually guessing up to the very end.

If you want to start reading James Rollins, start with his earlier books and move through them chronologically. He has a phenomenal talent and I will be reading and reviewing all of his books in the future.
