Movie Description
This double feature contains the following two blood-soaked features:


Durable horror conventions are combined with an unusual shooting style in EVIL REMAINS (aka TRESPASSING). Director James Merendino is best known for his film SLC PUNK, but also made a film according to the strict standards of Denmark's Dogma group. He brings that sensibility and willingness to experiment to the slasher film genre with EVIL REMAINS. In the film, Mark is a graduate student writing his thesis on urban legends. He convinces his friends to accompany him on an investigation of a backwoods plantation where a pair of murders took place years before. But as the group discover more and more about the property and its former occupants, they find themselves in grave danger as well. Ashley Scott and former model Estella Warren star in director Merendino's re-working of the now-traditional slasher film narrative.


BLOOD ANGELS: Ashley (Siri Baruc) escapes from her abusive home and seeks out her older sister for refuge, only to discover that her sibling has become a horrific half-vampire. With a group of other half-vampires, she throws parties with the sole purpose of feeding on the guests. But she and her ilk remain discontented, and unable to use the full extent of their powers. The band of vampire women sees Ashley as an opportunity rather than a snack, and implicate her in a plot to overthrow their master--the mysterious and seductive Mr. Jones (Lorenzo Lamas)--in order to become full-fledged vampires.
