Even the person who says he/she can't draw a straight line will be highly impressed with the tricks of the trade which the author/artist,Christopher Hart, devulges within the pages of this "how-to" book.
Moreover, the author has broken the book down into short, easy to digest chapters. These chapters cover everything from the "basics", to development of a character, costuming & props, etc.... In the end, anyone following the step by step examples will learn quickly how to visually tell a joke.

A must have for any budding cartoonist!
) This book breaks everything down so that absolutly anyone can draw a cartoon. No only will you be able to draw a cartoon but he gives tips for designing characters for the personality of your character. The tips for submitting your cartoon for sale should have been at the begging. Those tips are great for developing your concept and what characters you will need to make your cartoon work. This is definately a 5 star book!
