If you've ever wanted to read the Bible but felt overwhelmed, then you may want to purchase a copy of The Everyday Life Bible featuring notes & commentary by Joyce Meyer. With features such as an introduction for each book of the Bible, Joyce's life points, Everyday Life articles, suggestions for putting The Word to work in your daily life as well as your prayer life, you'll find this life-enhancing version of the Amplified Bible very informative and uplifting. I recently had surgery and found many insights next to my favorite scriptures that were a great comfort to me. Joyce Meyer was once a victim of abuse. But instead of wallowing in self-pity, she chose to dedicate her life to encouraging others through her unique gift of applying scripture to dealing with the issues of everyday life. I am grateful for her ministry and would recommend this wonderful book to anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of God's word.

The Amplified Bible is my favorite version. Add to that the common sense and insightful notes from Joyce Meyer that add even more to understanding the Bible and how to apply it to your everyday life. The print is bigger than most Bibles, which adds to the readability. This is a hefty book - hard cover dust jacket, and a ribbon marker. This Bible would make a wonderful gift. There is a lot of substance in this book!

Easy to read version of the Bible. Mrs. Meyer adds her own life experiences and spiritual insights to clarify the meaning of passages. Words of Jesus not in red. Over all a good book of The Good Book.

I love it! It is the most informative Bible I have ever had. It not only gives you specific verses, on certain subjects, in the back of the Bible that you can look up (examples...marriage, anger, forgiveness, children, etc.), but it also has prayers and explanations of many of the bible verses while you are reading. It was also $20 cheaper than the website I was originally going to buy it from. Glad I decided to buy it!

I bought this Bible about a month ago, and I have loved reading it. This Bible provides wonderful insights into the Word of God. Joyce Meyer also put Life Points, Putting the Word to Work, Speak the Word, and my favorite is her own personal insights and experiences that we can relate to. In these paragraphs she explains topics and how to apply the Word to our own lives and circumstances. There is also a guide in the back that is called "The Word for Your Everyday Life". This guide is a wonderful resource that you can refer to that is arranged by topics that we face everyday, and provides you with where to find what the Word says about that particular topic. This Bible has been a wonderful resource for me and has improved my understanding of God's Word.

I enjoy all the things Joyce has to say in the bible. She brings the bible into your everyday life and gives examples. If you like Joyce, this is a must have. I had close to $1000 dollars in Joyce Meyer's tapes I think think the jest of them are in this bible. The bonded leather feels a little cheap and you can see the letters on the the backside of the page. But overall I am really happy to have it.If you are a guy,you need to get the burgundy bonded leather. The pictures online show the one looking brown but it is really bronze.I hope that this was help full to someone thinking about getting this bible.

The only thing that could make this Bible better would be quick find book tabs, but you can't have everything..Buy it..Hard or Soft cover, for yourself, love one, friend, even an enemy.. you'll be glad you did...Tammy

) This Bible was requested by a grown grand daughter. She follows Joyce Meyers studies, and was absolutely thrilled to receive this as a gift from us this year. It has study notes and commentaries which are helpful in learning to walk with the Lord and study His word.

Joyce Meyer is truly a Spirit-filled teacher. That goes for this version of the Amplified Bible too. I have always used a different version of the Bible myself (NKJV), but I have found, since I started listening to Joyce's teachings, that I wanted to get her edited edition of this Bible, and I am SO GLAD that I did. She has all kinds of Gems through out the whole bible that help you to apply the concepts being taught in it, to real life! The Amplified Bible really does help "amplify" God's Word. It's a WONDERFUL study tool!!
