The Everyday Life Bible by Joyce Meyer (2006, Hardcover)

I am for the most part, impressed with this bible. The notes are very well organized--a woman thing! Joyce's notes are conveniently placed next to the verse or verses she is expounding on. The "Pray the Word" notes are neat, too. Joyce takes a scripture and shows the reader how to turn the verse into a little prayer. The type is nice and big and easy to read. My only "improvement" would be to make the words of Christ in red---this is not a red letter edition and in a bible this good, that's kind of a shame. Having the words of Jesus highlighted in red would make them easier to look up and find, especially since Joyce uses many of them for the "Pray the Word" feature. Also, there is no concordance per se; however, there is a topical index. You can look up scriptures by such topics as health, family, friendships, prayer, forgiveness, Christian service, etc. etc. There is also a nice area to write and keep your own notes. Overall, this is a great bible! The Amplified Version is a bible that every Christian should own and read from for better understanding and comprehension.

I have other Joyce Meyer merchandise and have always been very satisfied with it. That is why i ordered the book. Wish i could have enjoyed it.
