Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? by Cranberries (The) (CD, Apr-1993, Island Records USA)

This is my fave album from the Cranberries. This album includes "Linger" and "Dreams", the latter which you may recognize from various commercials.
Each album from the Cranberries has its own personality and I think this is more of a "love" album with positive music. If you want a sadder more earthy album try "No Need To Argue" also by the Cranberries.

The Cranberries have not failed to satisfy me throughout the years. I actually started listening to this unique band when they came up with "No Need to Argue" their second album. Then I went to their third and so forth. Either way, I love the Cranberries. Dolores, the lead singer, has a great singing voice that goes from wispers to carnal screams. "Everybody Else...." is the most mellow of out of all Cranberries' albums. Yet, it has something je ne sais que about it...very soothing, romantic and yet rocking. Great to meditate, dream and make love to. Or rock out to, in a more mellow way, of course. Great driving music too, relaxing. I highly recommend the Cranberries to anyone who likes rock, 90's music, female singers and lovely tunes.

These cd's are the greatest. I've loved The Cranberries since I was 16 and am finding songs I love that I didn't know they did... Ms.O'Riorden's voice soothes me.

This is one of those syrupy lyrical cd's that you play for your date, because it's that good, and you can't go wrong here. It's pure Cranberries artistry, and if you need to totally mellow out on music, this is the cd to do it. Not a single bad track, the worst part about this cd is when you finish playing it, as you're suddenly thrown back into the reality. A must have for my collection.

"Linger" is an AWESOME song and it was a HUGE hit for The Cranberries!!! if you like The Cranberries, you will like this compact disc!

This is the breakthrough album of the Irish band the Cranberries.

The Cranberries gave a breath of fresh air to the alternative scene with Dreams and Linger.
I fell in love with Dolores' voice the moment I heard it as not to be duplicated.
So phenomenal and adding her own Irish(twang if you call it) to make it a unique and beautiful masterpiece.
This is one album I will never tire of , just have to rebuy it when the cd is worn from so much play

The Cranberries was my introduction into Irish pop in the early 90's. Their melodic, melancholic, and unique Euro pop/alternative sound is fused with Dolores O' Riordan's whimsical voice, which sometimes draws comparisons to Sinead O' Connor. I was pleased to come across this CD recently, as I had first heard The Cranberries about fourteen years ago and loved them. This CD includes their unforgettable landmark song, "Dreams", which is also on the "You've Got Mail" (Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan) soundtrack.

I love the song "Dreams" and this album contains it. It also has "Linger" which is a beautiful song.

I love their sound even if they are a bit repetitive, the Cranberries know how move an audience.

Definitely one of the best CDs I've ever randomly bought (I got very lucky, I know). It has one of the greatest songs in the world on the track, and as the professionals say, it has a certain deliciously haunting quality to it, thanks to the lead singers voice.
My only possible complain is that the Cranberries don't change it up a lot. Some of the songs sound the same, which can get a little old.
All in all, it's still a really good CD, and I still recommend it - despite the minor repition.
