Every Young Woman's Battle by Shannon Ethridge, Stephen Arterburn (2004, Paperback)

I bought this book because of my concern for my 11 year old granddaughter. She is growing up in a sexually saturated society and I wanted to find a book that spoke truth to her about the journey she would soon be on. EYWB is incredible!! I have never read a book so candid and so helpful as to guiding a young woman through her teen and young adult years to be celibate. We are reading it through together and it often brings up topics that she might otherwise not talk to me about, ie, oral sex, etc. and it gives me the chance to talk to her about struggles I had as a young woman. The authors have awesome knowledge in the sexual and relational arena! The book is easy to understand and you are able to relate to what they are saying because you can tell they have been there.
