Every Breath You Take: The Singles by Police (The) (CD, Jan-1986, A&M Records USA)

Almost every track on this disk was a huge hit for the band. I count at least 9 songs that charted and several that were number one hits for several weeks. Anybody who was growing up in the 1980's is familiar with these songs (you couldn't help but to be because they were played everywhere). With strong popular lyrics, a bit of a reggae influence to some of their material, the voice of Sting and such a catchy beat (that really was unlike anything else back then), this music contained on this disk influenced so many other bands and certainly will stand the test of time as some of the best music made in the 1980's.

First of all- if your a 17yr old girl and an older boy likes you and listens to the Police- RUN... unless your moms a stripper and you have NO future. Cuz he's in LOVE w- you and will NEVER Stop... Jelous creep. Anyways this cds good- Sting is allways an awsome artist- its just that,well ya know, this is it.. Really, the only Police cd.. Stings lyrics are cool though.

I bought this CD, because it was a band I used to enjoy in my youth and it was listed at a great price. I have no complaints about the CD.

excellent, even for a used disc, this one is in great shape. it arrived very fast. the liner notes are uncreased and in great shape. the disc works great.

What a great compilation of songs by The Police. What a great band The Police rocked out the 80's. If you want all their great songs with out buying all their albums get this one. The first compilation by The Police. All of their best songs on this album like Roxanne, Message in a Bottle, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, Every Breath You Take, and a few more. The best of the police on one CD. Any Police, Sting, or, 80's fan should get this album. This album gets a 9 out of 10!

I Every breath you take.. is such a wonderful song. So natural rock and easy to listen and sing. He's the legend.!!!!!

A must have for all misic collections, remember 90% of these always being played on the radio in the 80's.

this is a great cd. i wanted to replace a cassette and didn't want to pay too much. this was perfect, and in good condition too. plays with no problems.

Stalking, prostitution, references to Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita, how can you not love this collection of Singles by The Police? Couple all that with a bit of Reggae and some 80's pop (kind of happy music for the dark lyrical look at humanness...brilliant) and you have a masterpiece. 5 Huge stars.
