Ms. Horne is truly an American treasure.
This CD captures the mood and energy of her legendary run at The Supper Club.
Ms. Horne does not just sing a song she becomes the song and is acting to tell the story behind the melody and words

Thank you for voting. If your vote meets our Lena Horne - Live at the Supper Club in New York CityLena Horne still lives in New York City as I understand. She was 90 years of age in June of this year. I attended a performance of hers some years ago at the Dallas Fair Park Music Hall and met her personally after the show. She is
as great as all the alocades make her, on stage, performing, and talking to her
in person. She is truly an American Icon. I think this album is out of print
so if you like the jazz medium don't hesitate on this one. A few web sites have
a few "NEW" copies at $45.00 so the used copies in good condition have to worth
what most are asking, and even more. This American icon will not be here forever......and neither will many of these CD's.
