Taking over where the PortAbout left off, Evenflo's new Embrace infant car seat makes safety a snap with its patented "Z" handle and Squeeze-n-Go release system. These help you position the seat in its base and secure it, and then remove it when you need to. Once the seat is in place, Evenflo's Comfort Touch padding cradles your baby while a strong 5-point harness keeps him or her snug and safe. The harness has two buckle positions and three shoulder harness positions, and the base is angle-adjustable with an angle indicator to show you the proper recline position. A separate sun canopy rounds out the Embrace seat and makes it one of the best combinations of simplicity and versatility that youll find.

    CERTAIN EVENFLO EMBRACE INFANT CAR SEAT/ CARRIERS MANUFACTURED BEFORE APRIL 8, 2006, WITH MODEL NUMBERS BEGINNING WITH 317, 320, 397, 398, 540, 548, 549, 550, 556, 597, 598 OR 599. WHEN USED AS AN INFANT CARRIER, THE HANDLE CAN UNEXPECTEDLY RELEASE, CAUSING THE SEAT TO ROTATE FORWARD.
    Consequence:
    WHEN THIS HAPPENS, AN INFANT INSIDE THE CARRIER CAN FALL TO THE GROUND AND SUFFER SERIOUS INJURIES.
    Remedy:
