Evenflo Embrace - Pink Infant Car Seat

This carseat has been recalled! Nobody should be using it! If you want more information on it you should check out the official cps website for recalls. This is potentially deadly in the worst situation.

This is by far the best car seat on the market. It is lightweight and so comfy.
It snaps easily into the base and onto most strollers especially evenflo. The recalls are before 4/07 so if you bought a seat after that, you don't have to worry. I had this installed by a professional car seat installer and they said it was one of the better infant seats. And so affordable!!!

I just love my evenflo embrace. It is soooo easy to carry and use. It is lightweight and I love the Z handle. It snaps into and out of the base easily and onto any evenflo stroller as well as some others like Graco too to make it a travel system. The padding is thick and soft and my baby always falls right to sleep. Don't panic on the recall. It is for models made prior to April 2004 and it was because the handle slipped and they make a repair kit for it now. The car seat itself is rated one of the highest for safety in crash tests. A must have!!! I love it!!!

Evenflo embrace infant car seat is one of the best infant carriers on the market. The patented Z shaped handled make it comfortable and easy for any parent to carry. It easily snaps in and out of it's base as well as any evenflo strollers with a tray. There is lots of padding to hug your little one in comfort and the straps are very easy to adjust. It is also much lighter than most infant car seats. The recalls are prior to April 2006 and affect only the safety of the handle, not the function or safety of the car seat itself. A must have for your baby registry.

Consequence:
WHEN THIS HAPPENS, AN INFANT INSIDE THE CARRIER CAN FALL TO THE GROUND AND SUFFER SERIOUS INJURIES.

i bought one for my baby girl and was very pleased with it i dont have any complaints about it,i used it all the way till it was time for her to get a booster seat!and i couldn't find a booster seat as cute as the infant seat so i had to just get her a blue booster seat not girly at all like the infant seat was.

I get alot of comments on the pretty pink, but i think it is hard to carry and infant in the seat. I dont like the handle, the toya are alway in my babies face.

We used this carseat for 5 months and we had no problems whatsoever. Fortunately for us, the lining did not fade and we were very pleased. I would have liked to know about the recall before purchase but since I was not aware of such a thing....we bought the carseat anyway and were very happy with it's use.

After having a boy, we were very excited about getting to buy "girly" baby items for our daughter. This carseat looks very adorable, but it doesn't quite hold up to the standards that carseat should. The handle isn't secure, and can snap out of place; the canopy is very flimsy; it just is not a great buy. Don't waste your money!

I bought this carseat mainly because it was cute and from the website (Target.com) it looked sturdy. But don't be a sucker! It is cute but there are so many problems with it. The canopy dosen't stay up, the fabric fades quickly, the cover is too tight therefore it tore. I called evenflo and they sent me another cover and low and behold it did the same thing. The handle is VERY UNSTURDY and the adjustable height base broke. I have filed a complaint with the department of consumer carseat recalls. And found out there is an open investigaion on this seat pending recall status. I cintacted evenflo and they are sending me out a new carseat in the port a bout model. Check the target.com reviews of this seat - I wish I had before buying it!!!
