Even More Bob Books for Young Readers, Set 3 by Bobby L. Maslen (1994, Paperback)

I'm so glad I found these books. We've been teaching our son to read, and he was getting frustrated with some of the books we had in the house. I think just the sheer number of words on the page just kind of overwhelmed him. The BOB books come in different levels, and begin VERY simply, some pages only having one word, and then builds from there, really giving kids a chance to experience success and build confidence as they progress to the more challenging levels. You should have seen my son's face when he was able to say he read "4 whole books" in one evening. It was priceless and has really built his confidence in reading other things, now. It's a great way to introduce reading books, or even to build upon other work you're doing with them, such as the "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons" book.
