What an interesting barrage of characters in this star-studded drama about the desperate choices one makes in life while in a downward spiral. As the story plays out you can feel the desperation in each of their choices and can visualize how one bad choice can easily lead to another as most of the characters in the film do not get to have a happy ending. The acting was top-notch. The plot and subplots were not only Fresh ideas but seemed well thought out! I enjoyed this and would recommend it to all!

A previous viewer liked this movie, and cited reasons why-- each of which I disagree with. The subplots didn't really support and expand the theme, the stars misfired in their "fleshing out the roles," and it was more "how long until it's over" than being hooked on the story.
This is a movie that polarizes the viewer.
