More versatile than a toaster, this toaster oven not only browns bread but can cook smaller quantities of food, such as baked potatoes or a few helpings of lasagna, without requiring you to use your main oven. The 1,000-watt toaster oven fits about four bagels or slices of bread and offers two different positions for its rack, depending on whether you prefer to toast or broil. In addition to baking or broiling options, the control panel offers a warming alternative and a setting for toasting and reheating pizza (which never turns out right in the microwave). The timer can be set for up to 15 minutes of cooking and a bell alerts you when time is up. You may also override the timer and set the power to the "stay on" position.
