Nice light-duty vacuum

I wanted a vacuum to clean threads from the sewing room carpet that didn't have a beater bar to clean and tangle. For the money, the Eureka Mighty Mite is a good, little machine. I'm not sure I'd want this to be the only vacuum. I think the hose could develop holes from heavy use, but for light duty, it's a bargain for the price.
