I ordered 2 books and only received 1. I never got The Essentials of Business Communications, but was charged for it. I did receive The Tool Kit. The tracking numbers must have been inverted because I got and email saying the bookstore was out of the book I received. Totally killing me in class. Can't someone do something? I keep getting the answer, I've already got the book, when in fact, I didn't. I wish someone would just step up, admit the mistake, credit my account and we can move on. If I ever use you guys again, it'll be one book at a time to avoid this mixup next time. Johnny G

I've never had a worse experience on half.com than before I bought from this seller. I never received my book and it took almost a month past the alleged "ship" date for any resolution to come around. If you want good service, for god's sake don't buy from this person.

Same as newer editions.I bought this 7th edition book in place of the 8th edition required for class. There is no difference between the 7th and 8th edition. Just a few different pictures, some changed graphics, and a couple of pages off the 8th edition in location. Otherwise, exactly the same, for about $100 cheaper.
As for the content, it provides comprehensive information about business communication. Would be pretty useful for composing business letters, memos, etc.

Good book!I don't think this is the best one of its kind, but this book is usefull to get a general idea of how things should be written. Altough it needs a few more examples you can understand the themes the author presents and get a general view of how writen communications should be.

A lot of main points highlighted, very goodAlthough the bookstore at my college has the same textbook,
the book on e-bay is cheaper, which made me decide to

They do not communicate with their customers WHATSOEVER. Shipping took FOREVER. Took three and 1/2 weeks. I feel behind in class and would have went out to buy the book from a nearby bookstore, but didn't have the extra cash. The overall quality of the book is excellent though. I would recommend using someone else if you need it quick.

I bought this book for a college class. I paid for the book on September 4th. Although the seller advertised the shipping as "USPS Priority Mail" and when I clicked on Priority Mail it said (2-3 business days), I didn't receive the book until almost two weeks later. Fortunately, It arrived just in time for me to cram for a test on Chapter's 1-4 tomorrow. When I emailed the seller about the problem, he denied any problem and treated me like a ding bat. He was very unapologetic about the delay, quote: "Once it is in the mail, it's not my prob. He charged me $8.99 to ship it Priority Mail, then he paid less than $4 to mail it regular USPS with a Tracking #. This seller should be banned. Feel free to continue reviewing his further remarks. I will never do business with him again.
