Can't say anything about the book because I never received it. There was a problem either with the mailing label or the post office, so it was returned to the sender. I hope this is not a recurrent problem with best bargain books.

) Good pricing, item was in as promised condition, fast shipping. This book has a good review of principles learned in physiology so when we look at new concepts you can connect the old with the new. It goes into quite a bit of depth and shows lots of examples about when a principle applies. It goes a little too much into depth compared to the testing you would do. What we learn in class is almost just scratching the surface of whats in the book. A good read on your own if you're into those kinds of things.

This book was listed as Essentials of Pathophysiology by Carol Mattson Porth with a publication date of 2006. The book I received was Essentials of Pathophysiology by Nowak and Handford, and it was published in 1999. I am not sure where the error occurred in this item being displayed with incorrect information. I feel fortunate because the transaction only ended up being $11, but I had to go buy the real book, so I ended up wasting my money.

I ordered this book on June 1st for a class that started on June 11th. It is now the 6th of July and I have not yet recieved this purchase. I was originally notified that the book had been sent on June 6th. When I had not yet recieved it, I e-mailed the seller. She then sent me another notification stating she shipped the book (this was the end of June). It is already mid-term and I have not recieved this book. However, the amount has been deducted from my checking account. I am extremly disatisfied with this process and will hesitate to purchase any further items from half.com.
