As a relatively new mandolin player, this showed me how to correct a lot of mistakes I didn't even know I was making. It also showed me new techniques like pull offs. Chris is a great teacher and makes it easy to watch and learn. He leads you through a particularly challenging song, "Ode to a Butterfly", which would be a difficult goal for anyone. This is a terrific dvd, though, and I would encourage you to get it.

I love the music this guy plays and even though he was in his was very young when this was made he gives great tips on improving from wherever you are and the talent is unlike anything I've ever heard. Great DVD.
