Jim Varney was a comic genius and it's great to see a 2 disc DVD set that's all about his most beloved character, Ernest.
The commercials are hillarious and are always fun to watch.
"Ernest Goes To Africa" is actually one of the funniest of the Ernest movies and if you haven't seen it yet, you need to see it.
It was also great to finally see the Ernest "Family Album" where Varney plays a bunch of wacky characters in Ernest's family.
You can't lose with this DVD set if you're in the mood for some well needed goofball laughs.

A fun collection of 2 movies, commercials and spoofs. I don't have to be ready to cover my kids ears and eyes like the trash they make now.

If you are a Jim Varney fan this 3-disc set is a must have for your collection!! Ernest P. Worrell's Greatest Hits I & II (his TV commericals) are my favorites....HILARIOUS!!!!! Also, excellently priced!!

this was a requested christmas gift! father and sons loved it and watched it from oklahoma to arkansas - with lots of laughs from the back seat - no going to sleep! if you like ernest you will love this collection.

So stupid! Lots of fun. The humor is geared toward adults. Has some things that might bother little kids. For example, Ernest accidentally runs his pet fish through the garbage disposal. The "Your World as I see it" clips are worth buying the whole set for.

well ive always liked ernest sinces.i was a kid. and this movie is great and im glad that ive recieved and purchased it. id recomend anyone to purchase it. and if they have children or grandchildren.id really recomend it. mine really love it. they watch it over and over.but it is great

These DVD's are a treasure. Jim Varney's films were a little silly, I always thought, geared more for the younger crowd. His classic commercials though, are what first gave us his Ernest character, and who could forget his long-suffering neighbor, Vern, who we never saw? If for nothing else, buy this for the commercials, of which there are numerous, and pass the movies on to the kiddies!

My boys are seven and nine years old. They love Ernest and are now collecting all of his old movies.
However, Ernest Scared Stupid was too scary for them and they never finished it - something about a very scary troll did them in.
So far the others have been on their level and make them laugh hysterically.

Loved everything about the DVD. Bought it for my father and son. Very impressed with both DVD sets. Both my father and son love the DVD's. They have viewed it several times since Christmas.

If you are a fan of Ernest, as I am, then this collection will certainly entertain you. There are 2 feature films in the set that were straight to video releases and some specials included but those are not what make this collection worth owning. The highlights of this set are the "Earnest's Greatest Hits", vol. 1 & 2. These are the early 1980's commercials that were out there long before any of his starring movies came about. There are tons of 30 second commercials, including a little behind the scenes stuff and some absolutely hysterical bloopers mix in the bunch. These, you can watch over and over again when you need a good laugh or just to pick your spirits up when your feeling blue. Throughout the set, the video quality is excellent as well as the audio. The packaging is a little cheap looking but the content on the discs are professionally done with menus and scene selections. I really think you'll like it. "No what I mean?"

Fantastic DVD set - All of Ernest's best stuff is here - full feature movies to commercial spoofs from the 80's, Vern! Recommended highly for all Ernest fans - glad I bought it.

My son loves Ernest so I ordered them for my son.What else can I say about the movie. I did not watch it but my son did and stated he loved the movie that is why I ordered it from half.com.
