The album was bought to keep up with all the foreign "Best Of" albums by ELO in my collection. The record is highly recommended fot the common fan who just wants a great collection of ELO songs. The collector of ELO has bought this to complete his/her collection. There are lots of best of ELO albums on the market but this is a good one. I bought this Electric Light Orchestra CD strictly based on my emotions. I listened to all these songs when I was much younger, in my college days. They brought back many wonderful memories.

This cd brings me back to my childhood. It is a classic! It is one of the best cd's to bring with you if you are going on a road trip. Be careful though, you can get caught up in the music and find that you are driving over the speed limit....

I like the old songs without all of the old STATIC! I can listen to the songs for hours with no static noise. I have also already downloaded it onto my mp3 player so I can now listen at work or play, to some of the best rock-n-roll out there.

classic songs! A must have for any ELO fan. I have been wanting to get this cd for a while and I got a really good price for it.

I love ELO, so this is one of my favorite CD's. It has Do Ya on it, which seems to be left out on other CD's. That's why I bought it, like all the songs but this one song was their best.

The Essential ELO cd is awesome! I really enjoyed that music in the lader 70's and early 80's and now 2009! They are are simply an awesome group! I highly recommend all citizens on the face of this earth to own this cd. You will be happier than ever! I wanted it for the song "Telephone Line" then listened to many of the other hits that are just as great!

This was the best purchase for me. I have been an ELO fan for ages and when I saw this CD I had to have it. Every song is a good song; you know how sometimes you get a CD and there's always one song that you have to fast forward to get by it? Well not so on this CD every song is a good if not great song. Highly recommend this CD.

I had forgotten was made ELO my most popular group in the late 1970's and early 1980's!

I bought this thinking that at most I would like 2 songs but have found that it is a well rounded collection of ELO hits. It shows how they evolved in their sound and for that reason it is worth having. The best song is why I bought it, Don't Bring Me Down but I like a few others which surprised me. A low risk purchase all in all.

I remeber listening to this album in 78 or 79 and thinking they had something special. Nice - what more can I say? I loved them then and still enjoy hearing it now! :)

I enjoyed ELO in the seventies, but hadn't thought of them until hearing a Honda ad featuring "Hold On Tight"& later heard "Don't Bring Me Down". They
sounded so good that made me seek a CD with both songs included. My research
discovered "The Essential ELO" filled the bill. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of their music overall & have rediscovered them all over again.

This is an important part of any musicology or music historian's collection - a part of our musical history all wrapped up in an up-beat postive Tune. Excellent for choreography and soundtracks.

It included all of my favorites from the group on this CD.

The quality was excellent. The list was in the perfect order for easy listening.

I used a money order, sent it out the next day. took 3 weeks to show that they had cashed my money order, and the took another 2 weeks to get it. The main problem was I sent them 4 E-mails and no reply. I wanted to help, maybe the money order got lost, what not. But they would not respond to me. And I was extremely dissapointed. Being this was going to be a gift and it took a month +++++ to get.
