The Essential 55 by Ron Clark (2003, Hardcover)

Book is a fantastic follow up to Ron Clarks, Essential 55. Very entertaining and helpful. Tips will be useful in the classroom and at home with children.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. As a teacher, I definitely want to adopt many of his practices. There are those that don't fit my personal teaching style or preference, but I think he's absolutely amazing. I wish there were more teachers like him, and it would be so great to have more male teachers, especially in elementary school. I would love to visit him in action, but reading his book is the next best thing.

truly cares. He has multiple teaching strategies and utilizes them to his best. He has learned to captivate his "audience" by exploring methods that go beyong worksheet and book learning as well as getting the students actively interested and involved.

The author's manner of speaking is very down-to-earth and very easy to understand and relate to. He gives details to his suggestions and ideas which help!

This book is very helpful for parents and teachers. I highly recommend to all parents. Particularly they have children who are in the age of elementary or younger.

It was like a brand new book, just like how it was described in the description, and I was able to buy a hard back for a very low price. This is good book to help teach kids to think/dream big.
It is written in plain English, so young kids may also grasp the ideas introduced in the book.

I bought it because I wanted to learn how Ron Clark was able to accomplish so much as a teacher. I saw the movie and wanted to see what kind of book he had written, so I ordered the book.

I am disappointed! It has been two months since I purchase this book, and I have not receive the order. I have emailed the seller, and they have not responded to my email. I have filed a dispute.

I have filed a claim - I never received this book or a reply to my e-mail. In addition, I think the seller is no longer a registered user. I was most disappointed because I wanted to read this book.

This book is such an inspiration to any teacher. First year and twenty-first year teachers can both learn so much from Mr. Ron Clark. I learned so much from this book and not just about what goes on in the classroom (although his classroom rules are the greatest that I have ever heard). I truly feel that this book has made me want to be a better person to friends, my family, and my students. I am starting the new year with a much better outlook and hope that my students will profit from it. If you need a way to deal with anything that can come up in the classroom, this book will address it in some way!

I bought this book because I teach middle school and I wanted to use some of his techniques with my kids. I found the book at an excellent price and it has really changed the way I work with some of my kids. It teaches good values and manners that I have used in my personal life. Its just a great buy. I highly recommend it.

The author has written this book based on his experiences. These things have worked for him in his settings and we should all use what is fitting for our particular situation. Nobody can argue with someone's positive experiences. I am trying to adapt a few of his points a little at the time.

This book is great! This book gives examples on how Ron Clark's rules work in the classroom. I plan on using it in my classroom.

This is a great book written by an experienced, enthusiastic teacer who vowed to teach his students how to be successful in life. More than ever today students aren't learning the manners and principles they need to be successful at home. This book gives teachers a methodical way to teach these important lessons to their students. It's great! It's meaningful! I've been teaching these essentials to my English 9 students and it has amazed me how interested they are to be respectable, mannerly people!!! I love this book; you will, too1
