Escanaba in Da Moonlight (DVD, 2002)

It is a great movie with such a funny storie line. I really like the upper out look it is great to be able to watch a movie that is so funny and yet so family friendly.

I was unable to pay for this item even though I tried several times. The seller would not return my email so I never received the product or paid for it. Very disappointed.

I bought this movie upon the reccommendation of a coworker, as she reported it as being the funniest movie she had ever seen. Being a native Michigander, I thought it might bring back some of my younger memories of the state. I bought "1", and after watching it, bought "2" more for friends and family. Anyone who has spent any time in Michigan, especially in "God's County" (AKA: da U.P.) can totally associate themselves with this movie. I laughed so hard I peed my pants. So did my brother in Wisconsin. I highly reccommend this movie to anyone who can put aside their gag reflex long enough to laugh their socks off.

I have watched Escanaba in Da Moonlight and rewatched it now about 4 times. I laugh just as hard each time I watch it. I had to buy it for relatives it was so funny. The relatives laughed at it also. If you need to laugh so hard you cry then this is the movie for you. You will not be disapointed. If may help to come from the upper mid west but I think anyone would laugh at part of this movie.
There are some slow parts but the funny parts out weighted the slow.

This is a little known movie by Jeff Daniels, and in my opinion his funniest. It lampoons the great traditions of dear hunting, (Dear Camp), in the great north woods, ufo sightings and all. I tried to find this DVD through all the vidio chains as well as the big box stores for two years,with know luck, typed it in on Ebay and in two weeks I had a a new DVD in my hands!

I really like this movie, mainly because I get a lot of the odd jokes about upper peninsula Michigan. To people from outside the state it will more than likely still be pretty funny, a few things might just be a little confusing. Anyhow, it's a good movie, and it really brings back memories. Try it out.

My first time seeing the movie Escanaba in Da Moonlight was at a friends house in michigan. I never laught so hard and decided to purchase the movie. The movie has it's ups and downs but mostly it was funny. I recommend this movie for for all.

This is a Classic Cult Comedy Movie, If you liked Blazing Saddles,Strange Brew or Killer Clowns from Outer Space, you will also like Escanaba in Da Moonlight. Like all Classic cult movies it kind of falls apart in the ending but it has some great lines and scenes along the way.
Watch the movie and chebitokachit will eventually make sense.

Ive had this movie since it first came out.
You have to have a sense of humor or else you wont get anything in it.
I have bought this more than 6 times to give as gifts...

If you need a good laugh...BUY IT!!

This was a funny movie, IF , you are not to critical and can take the attempt at U.P. Michigan talking. I sent this to a friend in Florida. He liked it, his wife saw little humor.

it was a fairly funny movie. it has alot of funny line but i think it is only funny to those in the northern states as it has alot of inside northern jokes.

The movie is very funny and one that i added to the deer shack collection. I bought this movie cause it is very funny and a great movie.

This movie is hilarious and the most fun watching. I love you UP and have lived there the last 5 years, i moved to the LP because of the economy but am UP there every chance I get now. Yes its funny, silly, laughable, comedy, but all in all its a Great Michigan analogy and story. LOL I still LOVE IT. You should check it out if you want to have a good time. Most people not from Michigan will not get it but Hell Its a great movie and similiar to life in Michigan. I hope Government motors will fold now, the Unions have to go they have sucked the countrys tit long enough and they need to leave now.

This movie is very funny. My children loved it and I loved it. They should sell it in more stores, The only place I could find it was online. It is a must see. Well worth the money.

it is funny and is goofy movie i advise anyone who is into the comedy type of movies to watch this one. it will keep you wondering what crazy thing is going to happen next. you really need to take a look at this movie especialy if you are from the up of michigan.

I liked that the movie was new and not used.There wasn't anything that i disliked.I would buy or bid from this person again and I would recommend them to others.

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. What was supposed to be funny was nothing but gross juvenile humor. Would I recommend this movie?? Absolutely not!!!! It would only be 92 minutes of your life that you wasted and will never get back!

Very good and funny movie. Great movie for anyone especially michi-ganders! Maybe a few words of harsher language but all in all a funny movie. We loved it from beginning to end. Will watch over and over and over again.

Love the show very very funny. I am a deer hunter and wathed it before going hunting this year. Was awesome.

husband wanted this movie as a night before deer season movie. good movie some parts funny others are kinda goofy.
