Ernest Scared Stupid (DVD, 2002)

I have been watching this movie since a little kid and still love it and im an adult now. It stars the great Jim Vearny one of the greats that is no longer with us. It may have a cheesy plot, it may have mediocore acting, but i still love it none the less. Highly recomended for childeren.

Classic Ernest humor mixed with an element of the supernatural makes a great comedy in this family film. The trolls are extra nasty looking and kinda creepy at the same time. Eartha Kitt does a marvelous job in her role as well. This movie is cheesy but campy and a lot of fun. Don't pass it up. 4/5

my husband n son liked it pretty good kinda odd ball comedy. they said it was funny. i havent watched it yet but i bought it for my son s ohe happy i happy

This DVD is clever and full of laughter, maybe a bit silly, but fun to watch for a family night together. Ernest and his dog are the top actors in this Halloween comedy along with other kooky characters that make the story frightfully hilarious.

The movie got here fast it was in great shape.There as no hassle when paying,we injoyed watching the show.

I have always loved this movie, ever since I was a kid. It was always one of my favorites, and I wanted to own my own copy to allow my family and kids a chance at seeing what their mother was interested in growing up. The comedy and action of this movie is great, untouched by any of the other "Ernest" movies, in my opinion; that's why I just had to have it. With trolls around every corner, and Ernest always making a mess of things, you'll be sure to have a great laugh when watching "Ernest Scared Stupid"!!!!

As with all Ernest movies, they offer a great nostalgic experience, and lots of fun. A great purchase for anyone of any age.

Ernest is at it again, saving the childern of his small town from an evil ogre. This is my favorite Ernest movie, what with Ernest's multitude of personalities. Eartha Kitt is a hilarious voice of reason,...sort of. It's a fun movie to share with the kids too. If you're not trying to be serious, this is a fun flick.

this movie is one of those family films that everyone can enjoy older or young little laughter with some popcorn. this is a good film and the others that this actor performs in with the same carecter are also good ones.

In this movie, loveable and laughable Ernest P. Worroll gets into more trouble when he unleashes trolls that turn the city children into wooden statues in order to bring more trolls to life!!! Only Ernest can save the children...and the Children are the only ones that can help Ernest! While things get hairy and a little sticky....its a treat for the whole family. Especially during the Halloween season.

I bought for my grandson for Halloween. It was just as described. He just loves it. He watches it all the time. I would from this seller again. He shipped quick and was very professional.

This movie is a hillarious reminder of one of those favorite movies i used to watch with my family as a kid. It is clean, funny, and makes you want to own the whole collection. I highly recommend it to all who are interested in a movie that is funny, yet clean with good standards for the whole family!

You will be laughing at Jim Varney as Ernest. He may be kooky but he has the stuff to tickle your funny bone! It's a great film to watch with the family! Any true fan of Jim Varney, will be delighted to have this film added to their collection!

I bought this movie a couple days ago and it is as instant classic. If by far is my favorite family movie to watch!

I bought this DVD along with 2 other classic Earnest greats. I definitly noticed a difference in hilarity since I watched it 10 years ago. Earnest is funny as can be, but the whole movie is geared for kids in the pre-teen genre. I would definitly reccomend this title to anyone who wants to remember the early 90's and catch a cheap chuckle.

It's a good movie, with cheesy jokes. It's a basic Ernest movie. It has scared ever since I was little and still does.

Kinda funny, pretty scary for little kids. Makes a great Halloween party movie. I remember watching this when I was a kid, so I got it for mine. They watched it & it was a little scary to them, but otherwise okay. Earnest is not as funny as I remember though.

I've been looking for it for a very long time and no where around her has it so i decided to go online and found it for a pretty resonible price.

My 12 yr old and I, loved this movie! Just keep in mind, that Kyle is developmentally delayed, and his actual age is probably around 7. So what does that say about me? In fact when he lost the first one, I hunted all over to get him another one. Thank God for eBay!
It was extremely funny(to Kyle and I),scary in a sweet way, great characters, good dialog too. The only thing I thought was hokey, was the props, but what can you say? This was a low budget movie that was very entertaining! I would buy it again and again.
