A must read fro any lover of Southern football. Don't have to be a UGA fan or Georgia Southern to like this book.

) If you know anything about football in Georgia, then you know about the legendary Erk Russell. He had a character larger than himself. He never really understood all of the hype and why someone would want to read his recollections of football. Well, he was a dynamic person and no one could say it like him! I do not like to read, but I have found this book to be intriguing! I can't put it down. I read it originally when it was first published and never really appreciated it. Now, with Erk as a legend, I really enjoy reading all of the quips and quotes. Believe me, if you enjoy football of any kind, then you will appreciate this book. No one can say it like Erk! A great man with a great legacy. We love him and miss him in Statesboro, Georgia!!!
