Erik gets it right

This is the first time that I've seen Erik the Viking on Region 1 format. This movie first came out in January '89 and more or less flopped at the box office. The redemption for this movie is for the fans of Monty Python. Terry Jones and John Cleese have cameo roles in the film and I believe it was directed by Terry Jones. Its a good movie with characters that are interesting and fun to watch as they interact with others. Watch for the father and son viking "Berserkers", the cloak invisible and Harold the Missionary. Tim Robbins is the token American in the role and our titular hero. This is Tim Robbins I believe, before Susan Sarandon and before his politics skewed his views. I had taped this movie off The Movie Channel back when it aired and I ruined the tape from watching it so much. Check this movie it out...it's worth it especially for any Python fans and anyone looking for light-hearted fare.
