Erasure - Hits! The Videos (DVD, 2003, 2 Disc Set)

I've been purchasing DVDs by some major artists here lately since our beloved MTV,who started the revolution but forgot what made them who they are today,does everything but present music videos, unless you are up during the wee hours of the morning. So when I found out that Erasure had a DVD of their video history I didnt know that there was going to be thousands of them(I'm exaggerating, 35 to be exact). Some of the videos were good, some were clever, and some were just WAY out there! The only interesting thing I Can say about it is a person (who can sit through 35 videos by the same artist)can watch the evolution of the music video format, from staged filmed sequence to art house film to conceptual, or something like that. Anyone out there who is big fan of Erasure, I suggest getting this. THere are two discs, one with ALL thei music videos, the second featrues live performances, and rare videos, case point is TOO DARN HOT from the RED, HOT, & BLUE AIDS benefit album rarely if ever shown on any music video channel. As for purchasing Music video DVDs I say go for it, because MTV and VH1 has gotten away from it.
