Too many other games have worked with this formula and got it right for you to have to play 'Eragon'. Try 'LOTR', 'Panzer Dragoon', or 'Drakengard' instead.

it is a fun game for the whole family it is close to the movie and you follow the charecters as the lead you through their fight

If you liked the book and enjoy dragons and wierd beasts, you'll enjoy this game. Mind you that it is not for the Hard-Core gamers who look for the best graphics, best shooters, and the best on-line challange. Its for those who enjoyed the books or for those who enjoy something a little diff than the normal point and shoot action games.

Entertaining, and easy gamer points, quality not the best, but for a used game price you cant beat it!

This is a crap game. Graphics, sound, production values, gameplay, everything is subpar. The only good thing about it is that the 1000 achievement points are had easily. All you have to do is beat the game on normal and hard and then find all the hidden eggs which are actually in plain sight. Within a few days you will be done with this.

A very good buy for the easy achievements and that's exactly why I bought it.

I bought this game because it didnt cost much for a xbox 360 game (about $12 US). Fortunatly I have lots of spare time, so I'll play just about any game I can get. However once I pass this game i'll never pick it up again, average across the board, nothing special.

VERY EASY 1000 POINTS TOWARD THE GAMER SCORE. BUT THE GAME IS VERY EASY EVEN ON HARD. I WILL NOT REPLAY AGAIN BUT I JUST BOUGHT THE GAME FOR THE POINTS.

price was great so i said let's give it a go. haven't played much of it yet, but it's ok. not great not horrible. i would recommend this for younger players as it isn't bloody and is easy to play. for us adults it doesn't really have the gameplay or graphics we like, and as expected the acting is pretty cheesy. if you can get it cheap go for it, otherwise i'd leave it alone. hope this helps you decide whether or not to purchase it

This item played well, my son has already beat it. It shipped safely. The seller sells the prdct they advertise correctly.

I bought this game for $5 and thank god i didnt pay anymore than that the story mode is very short and if your good you can probably beat this within 3hrs all the enemies are easy to beat this game is focused on selling more to the younger crowd. Overall C-

I never realized how many different and fun games there were out there. I am still learning about the system and how it works. My kids are really enjoying the system and the variety of games that are available. Eragon (Xbox 360) follows the movie it is fun playing and feeling like you are part of the movie.

Alot of the gaming web site gave this game horrible reviews. I on the other hand do not understand the harsh judgment. Eragon is not all that bad. Yes I does have glitches here and there and the camera is iffy in a few spots, but all in all it is a good hack and slash. I reminds me of the Lord of the Rings games. You travel along a set path and are involved in pre-determined events. The dragon flying scenes are also entertaining. All in all this is an entertaining game and stacks up well considering most movie titles are below sup-par.

The gameplay is pretty good. It follows the movie more closely than the book. I think it would have been a little better if it had followed more of the book storyline making it longer and more challenging. I beat the game on normal within a week, so I am trying it over again on the difficult setting. I bought the game because both the movie and the book were really good.

combat was overly simple, the supposed combos and finishing moves seemed kind of ramdom as to when they would actully work. graphics were very nice, use of the bow was border line worthless other than while in flight at which point it was more effective than dragon fire, does that seem right to you? over all not as good as LOTR twin towers (ps2) but better than LOTR fellowship of the ring(ps2)

I recently received the X Box 360 and I thought I would purchase some new games to try. I bought this one. The price was fair, but the game is barely average. It is possible the game gets better after you learn more about it, but right now it is average. But I would say try it.

Game was great from start to finish. It followed along with the story in the book. If there was one thing to improve it would be to make it longer!
