Epson Stylus Photo R300 InkJet Printer

Just what they say it is!!! DOnt listen to all the people that say epson paper only... Their is a menu on the printer that allowes you to change the kind of paper you are using and a bunch of different things!!! MY FAVORITE PRINTER!

The epson R300 printer is in my view unbeatable in its price range compeating nad outperforming others in the $300 price range for the home or small buisness this photo printer is exelent and dose not have any compeditors at this time WHY you ask OK this printer prints CD/DVD with exelent results I have printed as many as 20 in oe day and all came out perfict I allso have printed on many diferent brands of glossy photo papper and the results equal or exceed the one hour photo labs if you do photos you probubly know allmost all inkjet printers do there best with 9mil photo papper thicker papper is A problem you must check set up and set for the thickness or streaks and bluring accour thiner than 9 mil papper is not recomended for photos will not feed properley the R300 is allso the most inexspencive printer to use when it comes to ink there are maney compatible cartridges on the net from $0.95 up maney are refillable up to 50 or possibly more times but you will need to purchass A chip reseter on Ebay if you refill with bulk ink you can cut the cost of printing even more check the price of ink carts befor you buy any new printer then check epson and you will see why epson can not be beat in todays market canon was the last to compeat with non chiped cartridges but last yeay all of the new canon printers have chips and no way to reset allso no compatibles availabe for canon do your homework and check price with compatible ink carts. befor you throw your money down the drain and you will end up with one of these exelent epson printers

The Epson r300 printers rating don't do them justice! Lots of users are not famaliar with all their great features! By far, it is one of the Epson 300 series which outpreforms most of the other printers hands down! Granted, there are some quips that any product may have. This one has very few that I have noticed! Installed a CISS unit (Continuous ink system supply), on this one for My Daughter. It worked perfectly and printed photos as professionally as any printer I know of.
This particular printer was pulled out of lease service. Apparantly it had very little use!
I found the dealer was very clear about its use and condition. Very fair price and Free shipping!
The free shipping made it affordable for me to purchase. Had it been subject to the normal extremely high S&H, I probably would not have bought it.
Over all, I give this printer a five star rating as I know its quality! My original r300 has been going for over 2 years and no problems at all!
Bulk ink is very reasonable priced and makes for very echonomical printing use.
I recommend taking some time and getting to know your product wheather it be this model or any other. Read the manual that comes with the (unit) printer.
If the manual is not available, go online, forums, manufacture, etc. There is lots of great info for you, just go get it!

it can print on cd's and it has the 5 color printing to give you the best picture printing around. it really should be a nice printer

I had one like itwhich needed repairs. Staples repairman said I could buy one cheaper than have repairs. New unit needed some minor work and ink replacement. Seller reimbursed me for part of cf ink replacement. Unit working fine now. Prints better than other. Seller was pleasant, agreeable.

I purchased this printer from a seller on ebay to use with my G5 OS 10.4.10. After many many hours trying to get it to work on my G5 and that includes 2 Mac IT guys and only one troubleshooting response email from Epson, I've discovered what Epson has known all along . . . . Epson has not developed a driver for the 10.4 OS powered by the, now old, processors. They do have a driver for the 10.4 OS if you have one of the new Macs with the Intel processors. I've only had my G5 for 2 years and it was a pretty new release when I bought it from Apple. I will think twice before buying another Epson product.

Excellent printing quality, instructions are very explicit and simple to use. The printer is fast and quiet. I am very pleased overall including a great price.

Im happy that I bought this item, it works really well. It has created a slight problem with my HP officejet T series program, but I dont doubt that it well be corrected at a later time. It works much better that a previous program that I had been using.

The easy camera connections and the secure disc ports make it like child’s play to access my photos. The small but clear build in viewer negates the need to fire up the computer for editing and printing needs. I am so excited about the clear and perfect color photos that I am able to print. My grandchildren love the printable discs that I customize for them on my Epson printer. The enclosed software makes designing so easy even they can do it. Best yet I got my new printer at bargain basement prices. Seller had great communication and fast shipping.

EBay shopping is the very best way to save money and time. I have spent years driving up and down the streets to get the best buy. With gas prices the way they are I spend my time wisely now with the computer tuned to EBay sellers.

I've owned Epson color inkjet printers for several years now - because they've never left anything to be desired in home printing of photos, documents, you name it!

I've found the same with a previous reviewer as it applies to using Epson photo paper for the highest-quality photo printing - and I agree. I believe this is a small inconvenience, however, especially given the high regard I hold the Epson name.

This is a great printer! It had great quality on my 4" X 6" photos, it is like I had them developed at Wal-Mart! I also liked the CD Labeler it has!

This is a great printer for my DVD labels. I'll have to try printing some photo, I hear they print beautiful.

Could not adequately review this item because it arrived broken. I had previously owned one of these printers and really enjoyed it, which is why I ordered another one.

It's a great printer!! It's my second one of this model. It is a quality photo printer. I'm sad that Epson doesn't make this printer any more and instead has gone to all-in-one printers.

My children bought my original printer for me and when I wore it out, I had to get another one just like it. The print quality is excellent. It is easy to use and I get my prints as quickly as I take my shots, making it easy to share with others.
