Epson Stylus Photo 870 InkJet Printer

I purchased this printer because I am trying to "tweak" a printer into printing on a particular label stock so I can avoid buying a Primera Label Printer for $1800 to $2400 price range. I am extremely familiar with Epson printers, so I thought this would be a good start.

BE CAREFUL when you purchase used inkjet printers. If you know what you're doing, you can get a great deal, but if not, you can burn through a lot of expensive ink trying to get old clogged jets working again.

This is a good little printer, but you might enjoy a newer one depending on your needs. Do your research.

I have owned about 10 of the Epson Stylus Photo 870 printers. It is by far one of the best ink jet printers that Epson has made. The problem that I have had with them is no place to service the Epson 870 when something minor goes wrong with it. I do not have a repair center with in 150 miles of where I live. So,
I have found that just junking the old unit and buying a new one much cheaper.
