Product Description
The Epson Stylus 500 is a lightweight, compact, color inkjet printer. It comes with two separate cartridges, one for CMY and the other for black. Both are loaded simultaneously. The printer's front panel consists of three buttons. Two of them perform cleaning cycles for the black and the color cartridges, and the third does Load and Eject. Four LEDs on the panel indicate power, paper out, black ink out and color ink out. A paper thickness adjustment lever is provided for using different paper types. The Stylus Color 500 comes with drivers for Windows 95, Windows 3.x, DOS and the Mac OS and has got a parallel port and a Macintosh printer port. Online help is available with all drivers except DOS. The printer driver contains the Epson Spool Manager which lines up documents for printing. You can pause and purge print jobs and perform other operations similar to the Windows Print Manager.
