Epson Stylus® CX6600 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Great quality, lots of software for photo's and it seems to be reliable but it is so S L O W that I can nap between pages. Other than speed it seems to be a fine low usage, home type of printer.

I have had it for two weeks and if I would have know how slow it was I would probably not have bought it. But, the price at $80 new from Staples was hard to pass up. Especially when a whole ink purchase (all colors and black) is $60 I don't think I did bad.

I HAVE MANY OF THESE IN SERVICE IN 7 STATES AND ALL HAVE PREFORMED WITHOUT FLAW. THE OLDEST ONE IS ALMOST 2 YEARS OLD AND NEVER HAVE HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL.

I never recieved it! The seller shipped it Fedex and it was lost in transport. Now I have no printer and I am out $60.00. I can't even file a claim with Fedex. Only the sender can. I think that stinks!

did not work from the time it arrived.I had to file a paypal claim to get partial refund of my money.

As other reviews have said, if the jets get plugged might as well toss the thing!

Only buy new to avoid probs, and use the printer regularly. Just print a test page every couple weeks!

these printers have heads that will clog and can't be fixed if the ink dries in the print head. it will be a useless paperweight.
I took mine to a repair shop that couldn't get the clog out with professional strength cleaners. the print heads cost $190. that's $50 more than the printer cost new!

This is the third Epson All-in-one InkJet printer I've owned. Two Epson Stylus CX5400's and my final CX6600. They all lasted a little more than a year before they stopped printing. They work well until one day without notice they stop printing. My experience is that the life expectancy is far shorter than I would expect for the investment. Epson has left me with a bad impression.

I have only ever owned Epson printers and when I needed a new one I bought another Epson. I Have not used it very often and can't give a full review of how well it does work. So far it is okay. I can however say that my last two Epson 4600 Stylus printers were a VERY big disappointment as each one lasted less than a year. One lasted only 5 months, the other one 7 months. If the new one has problems it will be the last Epson I will ever buy. To be honest I had over a hundred dollars worth of ink cartridges left from the last 4600 printer and the Epson 6600 was the only other printer that would use the same cartridges and that is the only reason I bought the 6600.

I have had this printer for nearly two trouble-free years now and I am very pleased with it's performance and reliability. As a Power Seller on Ebay I use the printer to print shipping labels and upload photos from my digital camera to Ebay. I love the fact that when a certain ink is low you only need to replace it instead of all. The print speed is fine for me as I use this at home for my business so I'm not in the need of 300 pages per minute print speeds. I would definately by another printer from Epson.

The second time the ink was replaced, the black ink would not print. I had the printer looked at and it was determined the printers' head was bad and needed to be replaced. The scanner always worked fine and the color was fine, but I have decided not to buy Epson again. This was my second bad experience with Epson.

Both me and a collegue purchased this printer. The reliability of this unit is probably one of the worst I've seen. Do a search on ebay right now and you'll probably find some 'NO LONGER WORKS' units being sold. After about a year, count on your printer to just stop working due to some device in it, and if you are beyond your warantee, chalk it up to a loss. I've also suffered a problem with the paper loading incorrectly since day one. There would either be no border, or too big a border, and sometimes the paper would appear to load and the printer would print, but the paper never even loaded. These were constant headaches with this unit. The other features are all to be expected. The only major pro on this item is that the ink can be found for about a buck a cartridge on ebay for the generics, so cost wise, it's definitely worth it if you can afford the headaches.

Seller (buggzy2) did not respond to my emails. Did not ship after my payment to him. I tried contacting him by phone from the phone number I got on ebay. It said it was not a working number, so I can only conclude the buggzy2 is a phony.

I bought this same type of printer 5 years ago with my iMac and it worked flawlessly for all that time. Until it finally broke and was too expensive to fix, I never had 1 problem with it, not even a paper jam!

I was surprised that the postage was $10.00 more than was stipulated by Ebay. However, I think that the seller was right in asking for the money up front. Ebay should indicate that the shipping is an estimate and not the actual cost.
If the machine works like it should, I will be very satisfied.
By the way, the seller did refund $5.19 of the over charge.

I bought this model seven (7) years ago from Staples for $89. Bought it in NH, so no sales tax or shipping. I get my ink cartridges from the Supermediastore.com for less than half price. Prints great. Prints photos even better. Yes, it's a little slow, but who cares? I never had a clog problem. The on/off button is wearing out. When it does, I'm getting another CX6600.

I too had the problem with ink drying in the print head. Nothing would work to unclog it. Did the same, replaced all the cartridges, but still prints very streaky and sketchy even after a dozen cleanings. So it has been relegated to a scanner and sd card reader.

Compared to the cx4600 this is an excellent buy. The biggest thing is no clogging ink problems that I had with the previous item!

the printer was more than i expected it looked brand new. very good shipping and handling and it was very well packaged seller kept in contact which was a plus

I have had this printer now for 3 years. It is a workhorse in our business. It really does everything we ask of it. I use it each and everyday. Its packed with many features and is a great value. What I like most is, its a stand alone copier, that you can use without the computer being turned on, plus you can make both black copies or color, at the touch of a button....sweet. Also its used to print color photo's. Comes with nice photo software. For the MONEY you can't beat it!
These all in one machines are made to be used everyday. Common sense would tell you, that if you only use it once in a while, the ink will dry up in the nozzles. I have not had any problems at all with my machine. I would purchase another EPSON product tomorrow.

For first year this printer was a dream - copying and printing - superb! But then it started getting hiccups - replacement ink (epson brand) created streaks - jagged lines that couldnt get fixed with onboard maintenance. Then one afternoon, after printing moderately well (with above exceptions) error message e-90 appeared accompanied by a metal-on-metal grinding. Epson said don't bother sending it back - the cost would be about $200 plus shipping to repair. If you havent got the message by now, it's "be very careful" with epson products, dont overstock on expensive ink cause the printer can be junk before you get arojnd to using it.
