Epson Stylus® C66 InkJet Photo Printer

Printer handles a variety of paper weights and sizes. Was very pleased - and we used it quite heavily -- running 100 color images in one run. PROBLEM came when the printer started putting up an error message on the screen about "Consumables" (And NO...NOT INK) and directed us to the owners manual. Nothing in the owners manual about the issue. Phoned Epson support and they gave us the name of 2 "repair shops" to take it to. Seems there are some foam pads that have to be replaced - that was everyones best guess. Any case, the costs for "repair" ($45 to look at it) or even buying the foam pads exceeded the value of the printer. So we scrapped it. Great Printer if you don't use a printer too hard. If you do, I'd not suggest this particular Epson model. We've owned at least 4 Epsons and this is the first time this issue has come up.

I have always liked epson printers. I had their very first color printer and have purchased them since. The prices are reasonable and you can get generic ink. I did however have one of these printers break with no that much use. I was disappointed about that. And it is cheaper to buy a new one than to repair the damaged one.

I love Epson printers. I have had them for many, many years, and I find them reliable, good quality - and best of all, you can purchase generic inks for them for as little as $2.25 a cartridge that produce quality work. They are workhorses and continue pushing out work for a very long time. I recommend to everyone that they purchase Epson printers for their reliability, quality and the fact that they don't break your budget with ink replacement costs, as other printers do. They are easy to use, easy to change ink cartridges, and really do not break down. Epson is the only way to go - and believe me, I do not own stock in the company, nor do I have a relative working for them. After using them for at least 20 years, that is the only way to go.

It prints well but is a little slow, it's not as fast as my Canon iP3000. If the printer sits without being used ink will start to dry in the printhead. A cleaning cycle tends to take care of this problem. If my Canon printhead dries I can easly take the printhead out and run hot water over it, the Epson printhead can not be removed. I hope it doesn't get a stubborn clog.

I was very pleased with my purchase. I liked the merchant, the way she communicates and takes care of customers. The experience was very positive and I am looking forward to deal with her in the future. It is a great pleasure to deal with honest people.

This a great printer for an older printer. It is very reliable. It is not as fast as the newer ones.I have one at my office so I wanted the same one at home so I didn't have so many ink cartiridge laying around.

neeed one owner who i bought it from was lousy to buy from.never thoght i was have to wait so long for the last part bu item was ok after that.

Great color, no misfeeds, good ink management system, quick printing, no troubles at all! Seperate color ink tanks to improve photo printing quality and reduce replacement ink costs.

Purchased this unit because I had great luck with my old one. I also had over $80 in ink cartridges for this unit. Unfortunately, I received this, hooked it up and haven't been able to get it to work. Had a computer techy friend of mine look at it and he said he can't find the problem. Keeps telling us there is a paper jam when there is not one.
